In high school I didnt know what I wanted to do with my life, but the student councilors would not stop bugging me to pick a school. I lied and told them I wanted to join the military so they would stop annoying me about further schooling. Not everyone knows what they want to do with their life, right out of high school. My best friend went to school to be a pilot, then changed his mind more than halfway through and switched to being a chemistry teacher, then changed his mind halfway through and switched to a culinary/business management degree, and now has crippling debt because flight school was 40k+, his other schooling combined add up to another 40k as well. Now a half-decade removed from high school I know I want a degree in ancient history, Rome in particular, but I am not sure what to do. I want to go to school just so I can learn more, and I can do that now for free. I want that degree just to have it. I don't want a job in a museum. I don't want to teach history. I don't want my interest or hobby to become a career. So I plan to go to school in maybe 30 years, just to say I did it. maybe not 30, but in the distant future at the least. Anyone understand where I am coming from here? There is nothing else I am passionate enough about to justify spending the money on schooling.

Agreed. improve the game instead of listing off mods. Also, mods are coming to console versions of Fallout 4, so who knows what may happen. These are exciting times for gamers.

I like mine, thats a pretty good argument. Same for people who like sausage or pepperoni, or Football or baseball. You cant police others preferences. me for example: I use my console to watch tv shows while I play my pc, and viceversa. My PS4 is is running Metro 2033: Redux better than my PC with a i7-3770, gtx660, and 8gb ram does, and I have it for both. I enjoy the Madden games, and those are console only (admitedly unfortunate). Snuggling up on a couch with a loved one and creeping through the Resident evil mansion is best done with a console. Split screening minecraft with my younger siblings is best done on a console as well. some console exclusives are games I love. I enjoy my PS4 and PC just the same. EDIT: I plan to upgrade my gtx660 to a gtx980, but at 559.00 for the card, and also needing to buy a bigger powersupply, my PS4 will run games better, for cheaper.

IIRC there were some people who ripped and saved the whole spaceport prior to its death, but that was frowned upon for some reason.

I tried scansat during my wild ".90 with mods" days, and found painting in the map yourself was sort of satisfying.

I like it on my PC, and I'll get it and hopefully like it on my PS4 too. for those with the Xbox1, enjoy. Still apprehensive about these "flying tiger" guys, but whatever. I wont buy until I've seen someone else play it.

Both steam, I forget his specs but I do have the better rig. I do know he has nvidia, I saw the updater in the corner when he booted up. Just strange to me how pronounced the difference is in experiences. I generally have a great time, and he is constantly pulling his hair out haha.

I just dont know sometimes. My install is all stock, and I have occasional bugs, phantom torque and the like, but never anything major. My friend brings his PC over and on his screen I can see a ship tear itself apart like a suicidal octopus, I've watched his ships delete themselves, over-heat for no reason. He had a station that would not disapate heat at all. Craft in the VAB get corrupted for unknown reasons. He sees many other issues too. He has dozens of gamebreaking bugs, and I have essentially none. Both stock.

I wonder if Squad has some sort of contract with Twitch, as its streamers can make money off the service. If they do, thats why the change hasn't and won't happen. If they are free to stop advertising for the streamers they really should, because it is by far the least popular of the weekly things. I still dont see the appeal of Twitch

Agreed, but the second sentence is an admission that you can cheat in a singleplayer game. Not enough people here seem to be able to understand that.

There was a very similar spree of threads like this ~3 weeks ago I think, Mods all shut them down. I've been waiting for them to do that here but they have not yet. No good can come of this. Unless these threads bring you entertainment, then by all means, enjoy. EDIT: OH now I remember, there were a bunch of "How do you pronounce _______" threads, got that mixed up.

Does that come with the game? If its a user made mod thingy does it change anything? or does it just make things work the way squad had intended but they screwed up? I honestly dont know what that is. I've been getting more open minded, mods like Chatterer and EVE, graphical/audio stuff doesn't bother me. But to do any much more than that seems wrong. I dont even like these "official mods" that soccerball thing and the more recent asteroid detection mod.
