  1. I found it. It is in the render tab. There is a subtab "baking". Thanks!!
  2. Great to see these engines being used on such a great craft! Thanks for sharing it.
  3. WoW The midget shuttle looks awesome nice work :-)
  4. Would you keep me posted how your craft evolves?
  5. Would you post some pictures here? I'd like to make a collection / inspirational album. Thanks in advance!
  6. I think you can get rid of most fuel flow breakers by attaching only one fuel line at the top of your external tank. This will keep your CoM up. The engines should be able to handle it. Would you try ity?
  7. Getting the CoM right, requires some practice even with this mod. Some hints: If you go nose down, set your tank higher. This will reduce the required angle of the engines. If your CoM shifts too much during flight, you can use the new fuel flow breakers and fuel lines to segment larger tanks and avoid strong shifting CoMs. Would you post a picture or send me one ( vab with CoM and CoT) and a beauty shot of your vessel?
  8. Whew. I've seen the OK-GLI Buran recently - impressive thing! You just need a white tank? KW Rocketry has such boosters if I recall properly.
  9. Nice idea... However, it would need a probe bi-or tricoupler. I'll consider that. I wanted to mome a little bit away from teh Space shuttle theme anyway and go more for "Asymmetric Rockets" - which includes space shuttle type rockets as well.
  10. 1m 1.5m 2m and 3.25m. I especially like the 1.5 ones. They look great on smaller craft.
  11. The new tank system was made for exactly that reason. Try the 3.25 m parts.
  12. That bug looks rasther strange. Can you upload the craft file somewhere? Fairings are difficult for these bent engines. Let me think about it.
  13. A new version is available - including a new fuel tank systems with tanks in four sizes. it also contains two example craft files (see top post for images).
  14. Thanks a lot. I found that tutorial befiore and tried to follow it. It doesn't work with Blender 2.6 any more. The radiosity settings are gone now. I'll search for the baking thing. Thanks!
  15. I limited the yaw so that it might be easier for you now. Would you care to test it again?
  16. I fixed all of your issues. Would you care to try it out again?
  17. Hi everyone! A new version is out. Almost everything mentioned in this thread is improved and fixed now!!! Check the cangelog!
  18. For me it works just fine with the stock boosters. What kind of boosters do you use?
  19. This is what I understood , too. The problem is: altering the three first numbers seems to chaneg nothing. Is there another swicth one must set?
  20. Hello! I am trying to position the exhaust of my new engine (http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/55985-0-22-01-NOV-Space-Shuttle-Engines-V0-2-Tech-tree-and-large-engine-%28rotating%29)with the config files. However, It doesn't work as expected/described. I edit the following line: fx_exhaustFlame_blue_small = 0.0, -0.3, 0.0, 0.0, 1.0, 0.0, running Whatever I put here (x,y,z) does not change the distance of the heat trail. Is there som magic I do not understand?
  21. I noticed the same. I typically try to minimize all yaw and roll operations during the ascent. I align the launch position so that I only need to pitch to get into orbit. I'll see if a limited yaw angle is possible. Thanks for testing.
