I am looking for a way to generate and use radiosity information (fakes shadows in the textures) in blender 2.86. I found a tutorial for 2.4 but it doesn't work anymore. I realized some of the mods (e.g. KW Rocketry) have excellent radiosity information. Can somebody explain how it can be done? Thanks a lot!!!

I did it like that before, too. The shifting CoM made me crazy. The engines are inclined and have a larger gimbal range. The adapter is just an ordinary tri-coupler. I'll gladly do a large version if people like the current one.
The SAS does that. These engines have are inclined and have a large gimbal range. The thrust goes through the CoM automatically (within reasonable bounds).
