Right. My plan was to only use two missiles out of the Sagitariis' three, so i'd still have two armed ships at the end of the turn. It would have worked, if only one missile hadn't veered off course for some reason, and the others hadn't bounced off and caused mostly superficial damage. In the future, i just need to protect my weapons better. Oh, and sorry about the savefile mixup. Fixed it now. -

@Alphasus This turn did not go well for me. Realising that the Sagitariis didn't have enough RCS to rendezvous with anything, i resorted to docking it and Arcus together. The upside is, it worked. The downside is, it was almost painful to rendesvous the resulting "ship" with the Nauta. On top of that, the remaining unguided missile was defective. The two remaining guided missiles knocked off one of the Nauta's missiles and an engine, but it was still functional. Another disappointing turn. Huh. Could've sworn the missile only had one sepatron, making it inviable. Guess i was wrong. Darn. Although i doubt any of those unguided weapons can cause more than superficial damage, for classification's sake, that's not good. Also, that's a bit wierd that the missiles flopped around. No idea why they'd do that. It never happened in testing... so...Tempting...GAH! So, whenever you're ready with the savefile, @Alphasus. -

@ScriptKitt3h This turn went significantly better than the last one. I guess it was just my lucky day. After checking up on the Eversor, (to which i was pleasantly suprised to find both command points, all three engine pods, and all ten weapons intact) The Exitium attacked the Nerf Herder. The ship had broken the most interplanetary law out of its whole fleet, not only by having the second highest part count, but also by nerding nerfs, looking scruffy, and being obviously inspired by Star Wars (all class 5 war crimes). It also seemed to have the most weaponry. Look at those I-beams fly! The first shot disabled the main i-beam cannon. The second weapon shot somehow destroyed the Herder. It definitely destroyed the root part, and the engines, and split the ship down the middle into two pieces, each one with a missile and about 150 units of RCS. Wasn't expecting that. @Alphasus Found something interesting: The Quaesitor heavy fighter Rendezvoused with the Spacia (gravity was so low that i just burned towards it). After a heavy bombardment from the Quaesitor's missiles, the Spacia was effectively torn in half. The armor was also especially jittery for some reason, and kept flailing around like a glitched animal. I then proceeded to repeatedly poke the Spacia with a guided missile at about 30m/s velocity, until i hit something important (I call it the Quasarr Crack n' Poke tactic). This is what the Spacia looks like now: no propulsion and no functioning weaponry. It's technically dead, but i put it into a 15km orbit, if you still have some use for it. @ScriptKitt3h After losing Duna to the Alphasian fleet, the Quasar Space agency sent reinforcements to regain security in the system, only to discover that the Alphasian fleet had already been destroyed. New ships were detected, some with up to 700 parts per vessel, profoundly violating interplanetary complexity laws. To try to maintain the stability and performance of the universe, the Fleet of Quasarr tried to hail these vessels, to get them to split apart to save processor memory. Met with hostile responses, the Fleet decided to split the enemy ships apart manually. The fleet consists of: Two Arcus-class cruisers (75 tons each), each with five 1.25m missiles, two guided anti-fighter/subsystem seeker missiles, and one 9-ton P.L.O.W Shipkiller missile. The newly-refurbished Eversor Battleship (90 tons), with eight missiles and two seekers. Though its external weapons were knocked off in a previous battle, it's armor has not yet been cracked. The new 132-ton Axima Dreadnought was deployed as well. It's armor is similar to the Eversor's, but it has sixteen missiles in total, two of them shipkillers. (I took your advice and went all out with this one, Heh) This was the layout of the fleet (my ships have the Station icon) Anyways, the Arcus cruiser Exsequor rendezvoused with the Singulatarian's Dream. A volley of five unguided missiles were launched at it, three at the engines, two at the front weaponry. I think i destroyed the root part as well, or at least the root drone core. At one point, some structural glitch caused a large section of rear armor to tear off, allowing me to knock off the engines and half the weaponry. Sadly for me, i lost that part of the battle and had to redo it. Even after launching all the weaponry, including the PLOW, the ship was not destroyed. You mean, i'd have 5 ships and a fighter and you'd have four heavy ships? That sounds fine. What would be the mass of the fighter, in that case? Also, sorry it's taking a while. I downloaded your ships from the MU-NX page to train on them. Even with training, your ships have armor that's tough to crack. I need to boost my ships' armor up a little bit. I have my work cut out for me. -

Oh my. I don't have any ships anywhere near 120 tons. My largest operating ship, the Eversor, is slightly under 90. I'll add some more weapons and fuel onto my ships to make them more formidable. Maybe i'll quickly make a new ship (though that might not end well). Anyways, i should (hopefully) be able to cobble something together within the next 24 hours. -

I'm fine battling whoever. To be honest i'm kind of flattered people are calling Dibs on me. So, @ScriptKitt3h, if you still want to battle, Duna would be a better place. It would be better if you set up as well, if that's fine with you. -

I tried the Kelvin frigate, and i have to say it's pretty good. Took almost a full ship's arsenal to destroy. However, the missiles were a bit inaccurate. I'd suggest rotating the sepatrons on them so they'll spin-stabilize and fly straighter. I'm not a pro at this by a long shot, just a friendly suggestion. Also, the battle between me and alphasus has been put on hold for a few days. Would anyone else like to battle? -

Heh, what do you mean by that? I do fight the slight SAS drift when i try to aim, if that's what you mean. I see it as the only way to keep on target. -

Those are both some very nice ships! Also, @panzer1b, your weapons and aiming are some of the most accurate i've seen. Do you have any tips on how to make weapons and aiming more accurate? -

Hey this is kind of a cool idea. And i like that plane. For a name, what about Terga Sucula? That's apparently Piggy Back in Latin. The bottom plane could be Terga, the top Sucula. And here's my craft. It's a simple electric propeller plane that uses Cubic Octagonal struts as a bearing. A clunky design that occasionally stalls, but it still works. It's been tested and rated for 60m/s on kerbin and 20m/s near the surface of Eve. -

3 ships, 150 tons, +-10% weight change? I was hoping to try battling at Gilly/high eve orbit as well. It'd be entertaining, since orbits would be so close together, and ships that got pinged onto the surface might still survive. -
