  1. I was originally trying to land on Ike with .22 before going to .23, but the excitement was so big... And here am I with .23 in hand.
  2. Yesterday, I finally gave the boys at Duna who were furious at me for forcing them to stay ~361 real life days crammed in a Mk1-2 Pod a Hitchhiker Storage Container, so they can now be comfortable and have board games to pass the time. Unfortunately, now I live in Lag City. Hopefully .23's optimization will fix it.
  3. Everything, from rockets spontaneously exploding to me actually getting a Duna encounter.
  4. Congratulations, you just won KSP. Your prize is waiting at Eve's sea level.
  5. I don't have debris. ._.' I wish I could have some.
  6. This mod is intended to be an addon for the Original KSP Parts mod made by Fiddlestyx, though it's not entirely dependent. We at Archie S. Kerman's Part Salvaging Company present you our newest(and only) product: The old landing legs! (Older KSP parts not shipped with this product) Our workers were just hanging on the Mun on their secondary jobs as astronauts, and then they discovered: A crashed lander on the Mun's surface with these older landing struts. The lander's pilot was nowhere to be seen, likely alterady being rescued, and the rescue team ditching the destroyed debris like it was nothing, not to mention that Moving Parts Experts Group™ had alterady abandoned this landing strut layout and switched to a newer. Figuring these no longer had a legit owner, we reverse-engineered those parts, at the same time taking opportunity to build more of these landing struts. And, here we are, selling them. These landing legs have none of this suspension nonsense. They are barebones, shock-absorbing efficiency not exactly at it's finest, but rather at the finest price. When you land, you don't have to worry about the silly landing struts with suspension tilting your craft to the side, nor about they thinking they are actually trampolines when you intend to land your craft. Our legs will just do their job safely landing your craft on the floor, and if the rocket is going too fast for them, they will absorb the damage 25% of the time, providing a safer landing experience! (Warranty void if they don't absorb the damage) Not enough for you? Well, keep in mind that, while we were making more of these legs, we ended up making them slightly tougher, allowing them to take on impacts of up to 13 m/s. Not much higher than the newer legs' 12, but they are good enough for that moment where your engine is struggling to slow down, and your craft ends up impacting the ground at 13m/s, breaking your landing struts. What are you waiting for? Go out there and enjoy these suspension-less landing struts now! DOWNLOAD: Spaceport DISCLAIMER: We vehemently deny any and all accusation of stealing and claiming ownership of these landing struts from Moving Parts Experts Group™ and Monkey Squad®. If it weren't for these guys, these landing struts wouldn't exist in first place. They took the hard job of making them, all we did was to restore them and release it out to the public. Please keep this in mind.
  7. I suffered all the way to Stage 3, but instead of Stage 4, I began to feel like KSP is a pointless game, and all you can do is to just go to planets and muns just for the sake of going there, plant a flag and go home, and that setting bases gets boring quickly. I really want to regain the fun I gathered from KSP weeks ago, but it is just impossible.
  8. I think I may have a head-start...my third save file has a Munar colony in the works alterady and my first save file has a "base" on Duna. And after it is settled I'll launch rockets from the extraplanetary launch pad over there to colonize other planets, since leaving the Mun is so much easier than leaving Kerbin.
  9. Well, with that huge thing, you won't need ComSats in orbit around your extraplanetary bases anymore.
  10. Yeah, it sucks. I also wanted to give my specific in-game Kerbal OC the young blonde look(because he's intended to be the youngest Kerbonaut in KSP).
  11. part 21 is best part Also, I'm a bit disappointed that none of the Kerbals commented about the sudden appearance of clouds(and city lights).
  12. I have had an idea for a neat planet you could include at the mod. Its name is Aspectrus, and orbits Serious. It's map color is dark stone gray, and compared to the rest of the planets, it's surprisingly easy to get to and land, if you don't count it's massive black hole-like moon with an incredibly large sphere of influence. We'll get to it later. Aspectrus' atmosphere is a dark stone gray, and it's soil is even darker. If you have terrain scatter on, trees without foilages will be dotted across the landscape. Aspectrus has many canyons and mountains, and is quite a windy, dark place, making it creepy at times. About it's moon. It's called Vacuuer, and you better believe it's name. Possessing gravity akin to a black hole, a total black appearance and no solid surface, it may very well be classified as a "Junior" black hole. It's "surface" resembles Jool's, but is black, and the atmosphere is a really dark gray. It spins abnormally quick around Aspectrus, making it hard to predict where it will be next. Despite the fact that Vacuuer has no solid surface, it has visible chunks of meteors floating high above it's atmosphere. And now, for the Easter Eggs. • Aspectrus: There are 5 gravestones scattered across it's surface. • Aspectrus: At the north pole, there is a big pumpkin. • Aspectrus: 0° North, 0° East, there is a haunted mansion on the end of a canyon, surrounded by pumpkins. On the mansion's balcony there is a SQUAD monolith. • Vacuuer: Crashed nuclear ICBM at a meteorite hovering above the moon's north pole. • Vacuuer: Run-down original Mk1 Pod hovering above the south pole.
  13. Sorry for the bump, but... You can download the ZIP-File here Hope, you like them. (Delete the ones, you don't want.) What if one of the female heads get assigned to a male Kerbal, or vice versa? I wish I could assign specific heads to specific Kerbals...
  14. Quit making me feel bad due to the fact that I cannot into Jool! OT: Good job!
  15. I don't have one, and unfortunately I'll probably not get one any time soon.
  16. After a couple of training I landed at the KSC runway, but it's tough to decelerate(S is useless because it makes you take off again, and Brakes don't brake you enough). In fact, I've landed on the Island runway a couple of times, but the aircraft was going so fast I had to re-takeoff once I went past it. Thankfully re-taking off wasn't so hard because the plane was going alterady fast.
  17. I managed to land on the grass but not on the runway. ._. The thing that catches me on the runway is that my plane always lands unaligned and hits a hill.
  18. And spaceplane flight tutorials barely include steering, if it includes it at all. Also, this is the seventh time I crashed the Aeris 3A: Not to mention the annoying thing that the airplane swirls out of control whenever I try to steer it. I'm using Aeris 3A. And since when all you needed to do is to lay back and watch as airplanes begin to fly with no player input?
