  1. Oh my, you are the God of Kerbal Space Program. And here am I, barely able to send a probe to THE MUN.
  2. Words alone are not enough to describe how IMPOSSIBLE is it to send those launch pads to the Mun.
  3. Thanks to this offer, I finally can say I own KSP.
  4. I meant place them on another planet/moon. So I just build a rocket normally, but instead of placing a command pod, I place those launch pads? I think I got it.
  5. Mind putting up a tutorial on how to plant those extraplanetary launch pads? I don't seem to know how.
  6. Three things. One: More pictures. I hate when mods have little to no pictures. (On this case you've only got two/three and I like to have at least seven.) Two: Is it compatible with the Clouds and Cities mod? (It doesn't actually add cities, it adds in city lights once you're far enough from Kerbin to make it look like it has cities.) Three: How will slower computers handle this mod? Other than that, good work!
  7. I sent another rocket to the Mün(it's the only thing you can do in the demo). Everything went fine, but when the rocket was about to land, it twirled and spinned madly. Eventually the engine popped out and one of the landing legs disattached, rendering Jeb stuck.
  8. I just had my first Kerbin-Mün-Kerbin shot today. A couple of days ago, with the help of some users in the IRC channel, I built a rocket that's able to get to the Mün, and sent it there, alongside the famous Jebediah Kerman. He stood in Mün landscape for a pretty long time, and today I sent him back to Kerbin. It was a close call, he had just enough fuel for the trip. Any more fuel wasted and he would not make it back. Here's a pretty screenshot I got as he returned to Kerbin:
  9. But what if they crash in another celestial body?
  10. More heavy rocket fail compilations! (You only get one picture tho) What happened here was basically the rocket trying to lift off but failing to do so due to it's massive weight, and after a moment of it's SRBs struggling, it collapsed to the side, again due to it's weight, and resulted in the explosion you are seeing above.
  11. I was doing that, but I failed so much that I gave up. Besides, this is only the demo, it's bound to lose it's fun quickly, anyway. (I REALLY WANT THE FULL VERSION!)
  12. Nice job with the flags! I only have the demo version right now, but I'd like to guarantee my flag for when I get the full version. Obviously being flag shaped, I'd like it's background to be the starry outer space, with Kerbin just a bit offset towards southwest and Eve just behind Kerbin(though still looking like it's normal size - slightly bigger than Kerbin) a tad offset towards northeast. Don't make their offsets too close, though. I want for Eve to still be considerably visible and not have most of it occulted by Kerbin. Then, there should be an orange line that goes through the middle of the flag, but doesn't necessarily starts at one edge and ends at the opposing edge. Just a few centimeters of distance between it's edges, sort of like the KSP flag. Above the orange line should be written the acronym "N.K.F.A." in purple, and below the line will be written "National Kerbin Federation of Planets" in blue.
  13. Oh god...Duna is next...time's almost up! It's going to reach Minmus soon, and before we know it, Kerbin will be breakfast! Or dinner... All panic aside, I can't wait until Chapter 7 is released! Great job writing!
  14. I loved it! But...what happened to Bob Kerman? Also, why can't they restart life on Laythe? Sure, it's not similar to Kerbin, especially due to the fact that it orbits a Gas Giant for God's sake, but it's got an oxygen atmosphere, and it'd probably trap the radiation(if there's any) from Jool in it's outer atmosphere, keeping the inner atmospheres safer. Of course, there's the temperature and cryovolcanism issue, among other factors, but they'll have infinite oxygen supplies, unlike Duna and Eve. Speaking about Eve, are there any Kerbals in Eve right now? Or Moho...? Or any other planet for that matter?
  15. Haha, actually the rocket tumbled over to the side due to it's extreme weight.
  16. I see what you did there, even though I don't watch Star Trek.
  17. That's a lot of info, but I'm going to try that. The one Specialist gave to me. The fuel is so few that it looks like an one pixel-wide vertical line. My latest save was around when I was orbiting the Mün, I believe. Just one try, surprisingly.
  18. Okay, I bring good and bad news. The good news is, I FINALLY MANAGED TO LAND ON THE MÃœN!!! The bad news is, I don't have fuel to go back. So Bill is stranded there.
  19. Huh? By first stage you mean first stage starting from the bottom or from the top? I need some more information. (Sorry, sometimes I have difficulty in understanding things) Thanks. I'll see if it works.
  20. This is what happened when I removed all but three of the boosters in the lower part of the rocket and tried to perform a liftoff: When the rocket is launching, it is solely relying on boosters. Afterwards, by the time it reaches ~7,000m, I'll have to try to make the rocket cope with the loss of thrust by shoving the thurst bar all the way to the top until the rocket stops falling. By the time I can stabilize the rocket's thrust, it is alterady around ~14,000m, and I still have to gradually decrease the thrust for me to be able to slowly move my rocket east and then jam it all the way. Replies in bold.
