I would have so much cool stuff if my terrible windows laptop wasn't the worst piece of garbage. It can barely load the game. New f-16 already that's way better. A mrk v raptor. The engines were too far back. So I took out the intake and moved the engine into the body more. Its done I just need to test it and add struts. Also eliminated drag so it's way faster and can carry more weapons. [cb_co] F-22 Raptor MRK V model by clown_baby on Sketchfab I have a pretty sweet f-15. I went with the single pilot f-15j to keep it light for dogfighting. It has like no drag so it seriously hauls. Doesn't turn great though. And I'm going to arm the gundam with bd and try and fight some jet drones while just hovering in the air. If I can record that it'll be pretty great. And everything about the f35 is annoying. Lift is always hard to deal with when sculpting things with wings. It looks way better than before though. I removed the big intakes and just sculpted them out. Its actually the c, and the wing shape is much different from the b. I'll build the b after getting a cvtol figured out. [cb_co] CTOL F-35a Lightning MRK II by clown_baby on Sketchfab

Mobile Gundam Suits (MRK V kOS Footage)
VR_Dev replied to VR_Dev's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
So I have an alpha done, but I'm focused on my aircraft right now. So I figured I'd release this for anyone who wants to check it out or take a crack at trying to make it walk. It has ankles, knees, hips, and a waist that all have robotics, they just need to be tuned. The first folder has the Gundam with stock feet. These have very little friction with the ground however. The custom feet are coded like landing gear, which means they have more friction with the ground. If you want the custom feet, you must also install the second download that contains the feet & craft. Feel free to tweak the legs however you want to try and make it walk. If you can accomplish anything I will make sure you get tons of credit when it's done. Sketchfab can't handle tweakscale. The shoulder robotics and legs are messed up. [cb_co] Gundam Alpha by clown_baby on Sketchfab Mods Needed: I suggest creating a fresh KSP for Gundam development Tweakscale Infernal Robotics cb_co folder (Includes 11 B9 parts that I've fixed the nodes for. Obviously I didn't make the models, all credit goes to the B9 developer) Downloads: [cb_co] MRK III Gundam Alpha [cb_co] MRK III Gundam with custom feet *** Huge thanks to radmp41 for hooking me up with the feet after my computer died. Without him I would have had to redesign them from scratch. Dude's a lifesafer*** If you do download the alpha, let me know what you think, and feel free to post walking progress to the thread. Thanks for checking it out. cb -
I dig it, especially the homemade turbines. Also midair refueling is like the hardest thing to do. Sorry someone one starred it. Also where can I see more pics of the 22?

[cb_co] F-16 Fighting Falcon MRK II
VR_Dev replied to VR_Dev's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
I looked at tons of pictures but apparently I totally missed the flaps on the bottom. Easy fix though. Anyone know what they're purpose is? I mean beyond stabilization. I've never seen a plane with wings on the bottom. There must be a reason only this craft needs them -
[cb_co] F-16 Fighting Falcon MRK II
VR_Dev replied to VR_Dev's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Thanks man. I really just want these craft to look simple & seamless, but unmistakably identifiable as replicas. There may be a few small details missing, but I do try and get it to feel like the real thing. -
Yep it was a macbook. But water damage is what killed it. I dropped a big ass gin & tonic on it, so the whole thing wasn't submerged or anything, but it wont boot up.

Unfortunately all of this was lost with my old computer. My current laptop doesn't have the power to run unity or blender and even if it did, this was a lot of work I don't necessarily want to redo. You can't imagine how long it took to get all those nodes in place. Sorry amigos

[stock Craft] F-22 Raptor MRK V [cb_co] F-22 Raptor MRK V Model 2 by clown_baby on Sketchfab Specs Part Count: - 124 Top Speed at 1,000m: 345.7m/s Top Speed at 10,000: - For the MRK V upgrade I changed several things. I thought the engines were too close to the back of the craft, and one of the coolest things about the look of the raptor is the winglets way out behind the engines. So I removed the intake cooler and moved the fuel tank & engine forward. This gives it an incredibly smooth fuselage & has the engines where I want them. I also added that thing that sticks out between the enginesin addition to minor tweaks in fuselage shape. Every panel is perfectly in place to create no gaps or angle differences between panels. The MRK V will mark the last visual update. This craft is as close to the real thing as I can get. Any future updates will be additional tuning of lift, drag, & the AI. Flying Tips: - In order to keep the craft from being able to perform ridiculously tight turns, I have turned off the pitch for the main wing flaps. At higher altitudes (approx. 10,000+) or lower speeds, the pitch can be reactivated to drastically increase turning radius. - The craft it able to super-cruise at 20,000m at about 1,000m/s. In order to do this however. You must tune the flaps as follows. Main wing big flap - Disable everything Main wing small flap - Only roll enabled Winglet - Only pitch enabled This will allow the craft to maintain a stable super-cruise. - Don't yaw too hard. Action Keys: 1) Both Engines 2) Starboard Engine 3) Port Engine 4) Toggle Landing Gear Lights 5) Toggle Main Flaps 6) Toggle Tail Flaps 7) Toggle Cockpit Light Download: Build Number - 5.0 [stock Craft] F-22 Raptor MRK V

The F-16 is a superb dogfighting craft. While not as fast as my F-22, this craft still hauls and is extremely maneuverable. This in addition it's small size makes it extremely effective in air-to-air combat. I've decided not to outfit this craft with radar to save weight. But it is so maneuverable that it is still incredibly deadly without it. Not the best combat, new video soon. Takeoff and dogfight. Please note the craft has been updated since this video was made. While the difference in appearance is small, the craft has gotten a major performance boost. It performs much better now. New video shortly. The F-16 is a superb dogfighting craft. While not as fast as my F-22, this craft still hauls and is extremely maneuverable. This in addition it's small size makes it extremely effective in air-to-air combat. It is all set up as a fighter drone, just hit four and the craft arms and goes on the hunt. --MRK II Upgrade-- Added the stabilizers on the underside of the craft & the mount under the Vertical Stabilizer. Thanks to u/Flakbadger for the mount suggestion, I couldn't replicate that part well but he had the perfect suggestion. I also redesigned the front end of the fuselage to reduce drag and increase performance. AI has also been tweaked to be more effective in combat. [cb_co] SVTOL F-35b Lightning {Upgrade Soon}
VR_Dev replied to VR_Dev's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Oh well it turns out I'm building the a version. I'm having trouble though. Performing well in dogfights is important to me. The f22 and f16 are both super fast and handle well, while still looking exactly how I want them too. However, in order to make the f-35 look like the real thing, I have to place wing parts in ways that create an immense amount of drag on the craft, slowing it way down. This is why I think lift should be adjustable. -
Rebooting this thread for my new fleet. I'm dogfight-testing the armed CTOL F-35a, armed f-16, & stealth f-22. Getting chased by the 16 & 35 was legitimately scary.

Updated the stock Raptor & Released an armed drone version. The stock Raptor is set for a while now. Coming soon, stealth fighter, SSTO & VTOL F-22

Mobile Gundam Suits (MRK V kOS Footage)
VR_Dev replied to VR_Dev's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Ksp 1.04, Infernal Robotics w/ tweakscale & the IR rework. I'll release a version with only the "stock" IR parts though. Also B9, which I've fixed the parts I need. Will do, the feet are the main problem. I built custom ones before because they need to have friction with the ground else it's like trying to walk on ice. -
Mobile Gundam Suits (MRK V kOS Footage)
VR_Dev replied to VR_Dev's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Thanks for the heads up. I don't really have time to learn how to use these mods but I can build the Gundam. That's why I'm looking for someone who knows how to do it. The MRK I was essentially a flying statue and it got 333,000 views. I think a fully functioning one could really be famous. Anyway, it's good to see this guy again, it's been a while. It seems more stable than ever before on the runway. Haha also sketchfab doesn't like tweakscale. Gundam by clown_baby on Sketchfab -

Fix your pic and I can tell you. Edit: actually my reply shows it. The com and col look good. Having winglets that far in the front might be the problem. -

Minus the part down the middle it looks like an Imperial Star Destroyer. When's someone gonna build a 1:1 version of that? Edit: maybe not 1:1. But a big ol one -

I have a ton of stuff in the works. Testing is taking up just as much time as building so if anyone knows how to use BD to dogfight a drone I'd love for you to try my crafts. Stealth F-22 with internal weapon bays. Also need to replace the fuel tank on the stock version because it now holds 400 fuel instead of 150. And it won't replace the part automatically. Then a stock armed version. Also a VTOL 22 MRK II F-35. Trying to figure out a way to replicate the doors that open to allow the engine to rotate. Rebuilding the Gundam for the first time since .24. But I have to fix the node code for all the B9 parts I need though. And one of these day's I'll get the f-16 done. -

Rebuilding for the first time since .24. B9 is broken so I'm having to fix the nodes for all the parts I need. It's extra annoying. The new tweak tools make life way easier though. Looking for anyone who knows how to write code for the robotics. -
Testing out the Armed drone and stealth fighters in dogfights. Even with half of the drone blown away it still put up a fight. Both craft are in the final stages of testing, and will be released soon.
