  1. The wish granting genie has no idea what you're talking about, but you get a pat on the back and a free t-shirt anyway. I wish for ion thrusters.
  2. Granted. Nutella is lovely. I wish for winter.
  3. Granted, but you get jealous when you realize that your pet knows orbital mechanics better than you so you give him away. I wish for a job at the Kerbal Space Center.
  4. A small note about the large HDD, it seems to be rotated 10 degrees clockwise when picked from the catalog. Also, I've made a MM patch for myself concerning the drives. Now they store kilomits of data and the smaller drive is grabbable through KAS, a pseudo-solution to the data transfer problem. I'll post it here if anyone is interested.
  5. Any chance of a half-length cargo bay? Would complement the existing set extremely well and would be really useful when theres not that much cargo
  6. Hey dtobi, I've sent you configs for the crocodile fairings and a slight remake of the engine mount.
  7. Granted, Mike works and is eating the donut. Damn Mike. I wish for an RTG battery for my laptop.
  8. I'd love to see the log when you can, I get some lag when using any TweakScale parts but nothing on that scale and nothing is mentioned in the log. I assume TweakScale is inherently laggy because of the different states a part can be in and so on. But yeah, if you can then please post what gets repeated.
  9. Granted, they start working while on full volume during a loud part of some youtube video. Your ears are no more. I wish for solar panels.
  10. Less is more! All structural parts now only take up 11 slots in the part catalog and all of them are scalable to base sizes 62.5 cm, 1.25 m, 1.875 m, 2.5 m and 3.75 m except for the radial mount which only goes up to 2.5 m. Note that if youre playing career, base sizes are unlocked as you progress in the tech tree and most of the time there only is one base size when the part is first unlocked. Configs for the crocodile fairings are sent to dtobi and I hope you can expect them soon
  11. Biotronic, you are a god among men for making this. Simply an awesome plugin, has enabled me to free up so much space in the catalog without losing my precious mods
  12. Sent you a PM with a link. If you decide to use them, I wouldn't mind a small note to credit me
  13. Well, damn. I just made my own TweakScale MM patch, only four days after this. Still, learned a few new things so meh. Congratulations on a four day ninja.
  14. All done, working perfectly A couple of questions: 1: Is anyone interested in reducing part count? 2: Will I get a seal of approval from dtobi? If both above are yes, then: 3: Should I send a zip to dtobi for him to distribute or should I post a link here? Edit: should refresh more often. I made four parts from all of the shrouds, 50% and 66% in long and short version. The percentage is the relation between outer and inner diameter: Base --- 50% --- 66% 3.75 --- 1.875 -- 2.5 2.5 ---- 1.25 --- 1.875 1.875 -- xxx ---- 1.25 1.25 --- 0.625 -- xxx 0.625 -- xxx ---- xxx Where xxx is some non-standard measurement. Also, I can put up an imgur album showcasing the scaling.
  15. dtobi, I'm working on a full* adaption of these parts to use TweakScale just to reduce the amount of parts in my catalog. Would you be interested in the remade configs? I'm (at the moment, can do all if anyone wants) doing all structurals except for the crocodile interstage and radial mounts. The sizes are 0.62, 1.25, 1.875, 2.5 and 3.75 with all of them being unlocked as they would if they still were seperate parts**. *As in all of the parts I use. ** No warranties, not done yet and haven't checked this.
  16. If there isn't one around this thread already, I made a quick and dirty MM patch for adding SPU and an antenna to all probes after RT2 has done its thing with the stock probes. The only thing is that I couldn't get it to work the way I wanted so it relies on parts having ModuleCommand, no SPU, no antenna and no internal (IVA view). Meaning if you bring in a pod from a mod without an internal, it will get a SPU. @PART[*]:HAS[!MODULE[ModuleSPU],!MODULE[ModuleRTAntennaPassive],@MODULE[ModuleCommand],!INTERNAL[*]]:FINAL { MODULE { name = ModuleSPU } MODULE { name = ModuleRTAntennaPassive TechRequired = unmannedTech OmniRange = 3000 TRANSMITTER { PacketInterval = 0.3 PacketSize = 2 PacketResourceCost = 15.0 } } }
  17. Orion, I made a drogue version of your inline chute. It's nothing more than a slight retexture and reconfig so I presume that you wouldn't want it distributed. If you want, I could pm you a download link to check it out? I would be thrilled if you wanted it in the pack, otherwise I'll just keep it to myself
  18. Yeah, for my sense of realism, a hybrid rocket with solid fuel is much more manageable than full liquid.
  19. It turned out great after a few tries, my first MM patch. So I changed some stuff, most importantly the engines. They are now, as I said before, hybrid rockets running on solid fuel and oxidizer with a thrust of 100 and an Isp of 290-350. The hybrid was because of my sense of realism, there was already space for solid fuel which is storable and you could easily fit in less than half of an FLT-100 in the pod. I changed the effects, added blue flames to mix it up and reduced the smoke trail since it just destroys my potato computer. The staging icon is also changed from a solid booster to a pod. The Soy-Dragon still doesn't have that much rocketry to brag about but can now (on a good day) land safely on Kerbin from a suborbital trajectory. No warranties. @PART[Soy-Juice] { !fx_smokeTrail_medium = 0.0, -11.2673, 0.0, 0.0, 1.0, 0.0, running fx_exhaustFlame_blue_small = 0.0, -0.17, 0.163, 0.0, 1.0, 0.0, running fx_smokeTrail_light = 0.0, -11.2673, 0.0, 0.0, 1.0, 0.0, running @stagingIcon = COMMAND_POD @MODULE[ModuleEngines] { @throttleLocked = False @exhaustDamage = True @allowShutdown = True @maxThrust = 100 @heatProduction = 300 @PROPELLANT[SolidFuel] { @ratio = 0.75 } PROPELLANT { name = Oxidizer ratio = 1 } @atmosphereCurve { @key,0 = 0 350 @key,1 = 1 290 } } !MODULE[Landertron] @RESOURCE[SolidFuel] { @amount = 29.25 @maxAmount = 29.25 } RESOURCE { name = Oxidizer amount = 39 maxAmount = 39 } } (To use, simply paste it into a .cfg file, name it something nice and put in GameData.) Enjoy
  20. Timewarping into SOI changes are worse. I can deal with Ike having an obnoxiously large SOI and likes to destroy crafts, but when my simple Mun flyby made to put me in a lower orbit decides to send me off to Moho, I just lose it. But back to the thread topic. Today (tonight, 2 am here) I wrote my first MM patch, learning loads in the progress. It contains editing, deleting, adding and a change in ISP which was problematic. The best way to learn something really is by doing it
