The number of users who have been banned from these forums (excluding scammers, bots, marketers ect..) is rather small, and in the years I have been hear the few users who were banned received multiple warnings, infractions, tips on how to fix the issue and in some cases almost begging to change there disruptive ways.. There is a little known fact that Moderators are not omniscient nor omnipresent and often we act on posts that are reported by our users rather than trawl the forums looking for infractions and warnings to hand out.. Below is a breakdown of the number of users who have been banned outside of the Automatic and semi automatic spam function.. 12 general rule violations in 3 years, sounds rather soft handed for a form of this size if you ask me, though it could be because the majority of our users are awesome! 01 - Hacking 01 - On a temporary ban 01 - Requested by the user 02 - Did not respond to children's Online Privacy Protection Act check 03 - Piracy 12 - Rule violations *AVERAGE of over 360 posts each* including one with '1337' number of posts, I had to laugh at that.. 15 - Sock puppet(Duplicate accounts) 70 - N/A Mostly Spambots some Sock puppets, all with 0 posts.

We did have someone who found a few of the oldest threads and just posting the same line, it was along the lines of "wow, ksp has changed so much"
-
there are reasons its bad, and reasons it can be good.. Basic points to consider(applies to general posting, but its easy to notice in old threads) Is the thread still relevant(has an update changed points about it?) Are you constructively adding to topic with something that isn't already covered in this thread or elsewhere? does it need to be in that thread, or could a new similar thread be started? Basically the issue comes down to the Signal to Noise ratio.. too many bumps on old threads and newer stuff falls behind.

You can probably try this or similar options* http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=2083577 Or add the browser of your choice to this search and see.. * *Not responsible for advice take or not taken.

I've seen this happen to me in mid-large sized runs on other sites, its usually happens when my password manager is doing some funky stuff such as messing with fields when they are submitted or reloading parts of pages.. If you are using a password manager, try turning it off.

Ideas for the New Secret Feature in 0.25!
sjwt replied to Lhathron the Elf's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I want to see the Space Kraken from the videos randomly crawling out of the goo pods on maned missions, all glowing and stuff and it removes parts that you have to go EVA to collect and reattach.. -
10/10 for the quote -5 for ponies with cybernetic enhancements that don't include laser beams!

Missing threads from before the Support sections were revamped
sjwt replied to Kaa253's topic in Kerbal Network
Try once more, I believe I've temporarily restored it, I don't know if the powers that be will hang me out to dry for that.. but ;> -
Not sure what you mean, are you implying for example that If Squad makes a Blue car,and sells it as blue(and it is blue) but you want a green car, that the issue is Squads? From the main website "KSP is a game where the players create and manage their own space program. Build spacecraft, fly them, and try to help the Kerbals to fulfill their ultimate mission of conquering space." KSP is not sold as a simulator, it is not developed as a simulator, as said in the previous post, you are unaware of what others do and do not know, but this its self as a topic is not the first time its been brought up, and squad to my knowledge have stated that they have no intention of changing how this works on multiple occasions. If you must have something more realistic please check out Orbiter, as a game about little green men who make rockets out junkyard parts and don't need food, air or N body physics might just not be what you're after.

I must say I have no recollection of you.

This is one of those things thats on the what not to suggest for a reason, the over all computer power for a cheap hack of N-body physics is higher than KSP can go to start with, and that a hack. It would deal with either say 2D, or mass less particles or weighted particle in a set gravity environment with no change.. It just can not be done. From time to time we get posts linking to some simulators, but at the end of the day if they were a real true solution, it would be Nobel prize winning and rather newsworthy.

It did used to be 80, and is now 120 IIRC. Which FAQ did you find that in, It should be fixed.. Either way, its all now handled by VB and it automatically cuts off images that are too big.

Please disprove the theory of evolution to me
sjwt replied to Monkeh's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Guys, I don't think theirs much to add to this, this is one of those post and collect your noble prize threads.. If you want to keep discussing it, might a suggest a better thread concept along the lines of discussing the theory of evolution, but this is one of those topics that can often lead to a disaster. -
