Laythe SSTO is hard? But I do it all the time! Duna SSTO is a bit harder than Laythe, the rest of the planets are even harder. Tylo & Eve are impossible as far as i can tell, Moho SSTO is probably the hardest mission in the game (accomplished by Stochasty, later by Mesklin (mission reports can be found in the K-Prize challenge)). Actually... xD Pa1983 is the original madman. NOW ON TOPIC... Zekes, does my shuttle qualify as a Shuttle? I find the standard configuration uselessly hard It is as efficient as possible, considering there has to be a plane on the rocket. Craft file download (for 0.24)

Srsly I read a whole article explaining that a moon landing is impossible, because the rocket needs the fuel for the return trip! Damn! these people think spaceships are SSTOs, been watching too many kids' cartoons!

Sheesh! How many times they replay/loop the part where the flag flaps? * They always mention that it flaps while the astronaut is moving it, but how did it remain perfectly still during the rest of the footage? Also, there's more that one light source - the damn EARTH on the opposite side! I'ts bigger, and much more luminous that the Moon as seen from Earth. edit: By the way, look how much video editing magic was used here, changing brightness and highlighting objects.
