Ethiopia (went butnuts)

That's pretty neat. But I still think that making a whole 3 buttons at different locations is a silly idea. Make it one! - click once to transfer - click again on that same button to stop OR add another mode, a 2nd button perhaps, which does this: - hold button to transfer - release to stop (this way you could just 'click' to transfer a tiny amount) Yep. Very annoying when you have a big ship with lots of small tanks on it! Also... anyone ever tried transferring from many little tanks to an orange tank?
-
Has anyone been in a situation, where for example, you need to transfer fuel from a central tank to two side tanks? When trying to fine-tune the fuel level, you are quickly jumping several times from the "out/in" button to the "stop" button, and half the times you mis-click it, while the fuel keeps being pumped. Why not make life simple and turn the "Out", "In" & "Stop" buttons into a single "Start/Stop transfer" button? And since we're into it now, why not make a digital fuel transfer system, where you enter in numbers how much fuel to transfer?

That is awesome. Oh yeah, and the rocket is cool too ;-D Almost reminds me a bit of that manned-Lunar-landing rocket x-] J.K. it looks quite improved since your earlier variant from a few months ago. Judging by it's size... it doesn't go just to the Mun, does it? o _ o One of these days ya'll is gonna infect me with that replica-enthusiasm. -

Huh? but that's impossible. Did you put it on launch-pad, zoom out and cut the background out with Paint? Nah can't be. OR... did you use a telescope mod to zoom-in from the distance? -

Ah I see. Sorry didn't read Wander's signature before :] :-O I'm gonna P.M. everyone about this!!! Just kidding, good thing no one knows how many intakes are in my earliest crafts' fuel tanks, before i started messing with wings. O_O (That's an 8 man(+1 pilot) Mun lander) -
Vagani Car Manufacturers- Get Inspired- Final Challenge

And what about me, was my entry accepted? :] (page 4) ...well i don't really mind, since my vehicle isn't the most capable - not very good at surviving falls/climbing steep hills(despite what it looks like)...xD I could change the wheels, but that would completely ruin the look i wanted. -

Nice one, Doc. Boy I can't wait for that update xD I've been neglecting interplanetary crew transport, perhaps this SP+ stuff will give me some new ideas... :] =========== For now I'll just contribute this: Astroliner IX "Altair" Light cargo transport for Laythe/Duna. Also video: Craft files are in my repository, on my signature. Intake spamming is not necessary at all for making a spaceplane. Intakes at all aren't necessary! Intake spamming is a bit essential though, for making interplanetary planes that don't detach any of their parts during the entire mission. -
when have you over done it with the part count?
Overfloater replied to endl's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I have overdone it with that plane: It consisted of ~1150 parts along with its payload, ~850 by itself. I have NO idea what made put more engines on it than on my previous ships... It's just uselessly bigger than what a cargo ship should be. Aerobraking slowed the game down to 1/3 of real time, which is why I flew it only once. (I could lower the graphics though... ._.) -
Simulate space travel with custom-built spacecraft!

Yup. and we no longer provide support for WinXP soups. Waiter!!! There's a furry computer mouse in my soup, and it makes squeaky noises! >:-[

I wanted to get my truck to the nearest mountains, but driving there takes too long. And the truck doesn't perform well under more than 2x physics warp So I took a giant rocket. It's not like it's gonna cost lots of money/natural resources/ or something... :-p

These look great :] Particularly the variety of nose-cones & adapters.

Vagani Car Manufacturers- Get Inspired- Final Challenge
Overfloater replied to Vagani's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Not sure i'm up for any challenges(or capable of), but i have a cool car }B^] Astro Truck 2.8 Parts: 144 (148 at start) Weight: 8.23 tons (10.92 at start) Speed: ~21m/s http://youtu.be/GgncOKmOeTw Craft can be found in the .zip file in my repository (link on signature). But I'll temporarily host a direct download for the truck alone, until this party is over. -
Driving a car with mechj automatic??? (why else would you make a wish for 3 pedals...) >:-] That's as low as a cheater can get.

Hey @Maccollo, is your Venus lander still gonna do this? @sgt_flyer you make very good planes :-] -
I got one: Although I'm not absolutely sure it can do it without a Jool fly by. The Eeloo escape burn was extremely wasteful because I had more than enough of return fuel. Craft files can be found in my repository l l l V
