  1. No worries, I know my way around parts config files by now. In all honesty, I've really only paid attention to the 2.5m parts as those can be easily combined with other parts and I've yet to construct a SSTO or a plain plane. I'll give that a spin soon though and let you know how it goes. Once again, many thanks for the mod!
  2. Second half of year 2. Have been playing the same sandbox game since I got into KSP around 0.20 and am getting close to 500 hours under the belt. Got about 65-70 vessels in use not counting EVAs or flags. Even ignoring one-off landers and satellites, that figure is still around 45-50. Every time I wait for a launch window I find myself building more craft and coming up with new missions and thus I seldom time warp more than a few hours at a time. I'm currently spending the time before the next launch windows to Eeloo, Jool, and Dres (about 10-20 days) rotating crews in the Kerbin system as well as building, testing, and readying all the vessels for those launch windows. Here's the kicker: I've still got all of the Joolian system and Eeloo to explore. Haven't made planetfall on Moho or Gilly yet. At this rate, I'd expect to plow another 500 hours into the save before being "done".
  3. This is one of very few KSP forum pages ending up as a bookmark of mine. Keep it up!
  4. A joint venture seems like the sane way to go! Github makes it immensly easy to collaborate on a shared project like this.
  5. By the way, rescaling the 2.5m cargo and bomb bays proved to be an excellent way of obtaining 3.75m bays. :-)
  6. Good stuff! Got some feedback regarding balancing of the CI-10 (2.5m) parts. The bomb bay with upper wing mounts weighs 1T and comes with electricity whereas the same cargo bay without wing mounts weighs 1.8T. Reducing the latter to 1T to bring it in line with the cargo bays (with and without wing mounts) seems to be a sane thing to do. At the same time the smaller cargo/bomb bays could have their weight reduced to say 0.6. Also, the wings probably contain too much fuel compared to the volume of FL-T800 stock fuel tank (360/440). 180/220 is probably more reasonable. Keep up the good work!
  7. Excellent, I'll be sure to give this a spin tomorrow and see if works on Mac again. Cheers!
  8. Personally, I'd be more interested in the command pod itself and less in the fairings, LES, and LKO return thrusters. I'm not saying you shouldn't go ahead and work on the things you like. After all, it's your creation. However, I would suggest focusing on one part at a time and releasing often. That way you'll get much better feedback than now.
  9. Long time lurker that finally signed up just to say "Yes, please, do continue!". Love the boxy look and feel. It's easy enough to use something like Procedural Fairings to add a shroud when using a non-aerodynamic part like this, so focus on finishing this command pod. :-)
