  1. They do next to nothing. They provide a bit of air and some fuel.
  2. Then it's just strange. But if it doesn't limit you, just let it be. As far as I know, the only problem is that the part is blue in editor...
  3. As said before, bad HDD or bloatware. Try SSD, it reduced my loading speed from about a minute to several seconds.
  4. So I just tested another ship, and it seems that intake bug doesn't work anymore - I was getting just under 6 m/s with 4 whiplashes on full throttle. Use mods.
  5. I think probably using specialized mods. Or maybe intake bug (not sure if that still exists, though) and some modded electrical prop engine. And when everything else fails... debug menu Some versions back I made this using the intake bug: That save is lost though, dunno whether it works and am too busy now to test it.
  6. Nicely done... technically, that is. Ponies? In space? Serously? That blasphemy!
  7. Well, I'm slightly confused here. It it supposed to lose the experimental status the moment you complete its contract. Have you completed it? Also, upon researching stuff you need to pay the entry fee. Did you do that?
  8. Bought them on amazon now. If it's anything like Frank Herbert's masterpiece, it's going to be worth every single euro.
  9. Granted. Unfortunately, you've been poisoned some time before and your guardian angel has put an antidote into the salad. The rest is pretty clear... I wish I could control the universe.
  10. Kerbin has only patched conics approximation, and is virtual. Physically, I've never been to Kerbin's SoI. If you are asking about my KSP saves, I've left Kerbin's SOI countless times. TUBM has never left Proxima Centauri's SoI.
  11. New term coined. I'm working on a drone that's flying itself atm, but can't make it to fly straight for more than 5 m. Its erratic flying is funny, but a failure nonetheless. Hope it gets better
  12. I am not. The user below me prefers android over iOS.
  13. Yes indeed. TUBM Has ever written a short story.
  14. Wrong. I am a doctor from Real Life. TUBM is dead, Jim.
  15. Banned for spaces in incorrect places. (Some What = Somewhat...)
  16. your rudders are trying to pitch the plane. Since they are rudders (and not exactly vertical), it causes disastrous results. Right-click each of the rudders in SPH, then find the blue button next to "Pitch" and "Roll", and press it. Description should change from Active to Inactive.
  17. http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop No, really. I think win10 will suffer from many bugs for some time, until Microsoft manages to get it more or less right. I think it will eventually get there, statistically speaking: Take a look: Windows 1.0 (the first one): Good Windows 95: Bad Windows 98: Good Windows NT/ME/2000: Bad Windows XP: Almost perfect (my opinion) Winows Vista: Bad Windows 7: Good Windows 8/8.1: Garbage (IMO The worst windows ever) Windows 10:
  18. Yeah. If it works on Kerbin, it will work on Laythe. Just watch your speed, it's easy to overshoot the little patches of surface on Laythe.
  19. I am not sure how it works in other countries, but here in the Czech Republic you can fly a glider if you are 15 years old. I got my license when I reached 15, and here it was mostly just the matter of undergoing a medical check-up, flight rules and then flying. There wasn't really anything hard about it, but I've got one hint anyway: Playing FSX or X-Plane really helps to get grasp of basic controls of the plane.
  20. Thanks for the warning, but I was asking which one is better. IGN says it's Elite: Dangerous, Metacritic says that it's X3. Which one should I buy? I'm running NVidia (See OP), so AMD issues don't really bother me.
  21. Deactivate the SAS on your landers/side modules. Leave only one on the main branch running. Shouldn't be a big deal.
  22. It depends. I have quite good experience with Val, but it's really random. Class E asteroids also make for cool refueling stations - if you can get them somewhere meaningful.
