  3. Ser, the values are stock values minus the % loss by distance and speed landed. If somehow you had landed that craft while piloting it, when you click 'recover vessel' you would get the same back that is calculated by stage recovery. It doesn't cheat the system in any way. The only thing it does is not delete crafts/parts once they leave physics range and instead checks if that craft/part would have been recoverable and if so recovers it for you. Hope this better explains everything.
  4. I'd rather have the more brutal shock heating and use the slider to offset that in difficulty, than have the drag and lift problems that don't have any sliders.
  5. Again, where are you using mark2 parts, and what good is a space plane that barely gets to orbit with no crew, no cargo space, no science capability, no anything besides getting that 1 kerbal up to 72k orbit.
  6. Please take the Stearwing D45 and fly it attempting to get into orbit. You will find that between 10k - 20k altitude the turbojets will loose thrust just at the same time as the wings don't provide enough lift for you to gain any speed or altitude, so there is absolutely no way to get high enough to jettison them and get into orbit. I tested for about 8 hours yesterday with several different engine mix and configuration that I could for a small 25 ton spaceplane to try and get into orbit and found that in no way could I do it, and I was building spaceplanes extensively since .20. I literally can't get anything into space unless it is using 8 RAPIER engines and 8-10k units of LFO, which pretty much makes mark2 parts useless.
  7. Okay, I have a strange situation, when I have toolbar installed, whenever I go to the VAB/SPH and select any part or load any craft, it become unclickable. I can't click it, move it, add parts to it, or do anything else to the part or craft. When I pull only the toolbar folder from gamedata, everything works normally. I don't have it installed in steam or even under a windows program folder, the KSP folder is a root folder on an external drive (E:/Kerbal Space Program). I'm running KSP in 32 bit mode. Any idea what is going on?
  8. Hey, I just wanted to drop by and say this mod is quickly becoming one of my core mods to make sure I get on each install. At first I couldn't see the need for it, but now, seeing exactly where my craft will touch down has let me maximize my returns on reusable crafts to help me stretch that KSP Funds. Thanks a bunch for making this!

I must be doing something wrong or looking in the wrong spot... okay, let me explain: I downloaded and installed MKS/OKS and am in the middle of a career playthru but I'm not using any tacLS so I decided a good trade off would be Snacks! and so I installed Snacks! and this EZBake addon. But I can't find the oven anywhere. Even in sandbox mode. I went and double checked my career save and checked all the nodes, even checked the config and checked the node specified, not in there. Is there supposed to be a part folder under the EZSnack folder, or just the 3 files (DECALSN, DecalSN_GLOW, MKS_EZSnack.cfg) that I see? Any help, greatly appreciated, as I said, it has to be something I did wrong, somehow, but I've redownloaded mks, snacks! and EZBake 2 times, same result.

  11. If you make the RCS parts, can you consider adding a port to the "top" as well so that you get all but 1 directional thrust on one part, so you only need to put on 2 to get all directions?

  17. Okay, I have the latest version, but when I hit Alt + D + R nothing happens. I know it's working because stuff burns up correctly on reentry. Any initial thoughts? Is it a MM or toolbar problem, maybe? Tried in both 32 and 64 bit and I'm running 24.2. I'm at work so if there is any other info you need, let me know and I will start up KSP when I get home.
  18. B9 return is exciting news. I wonder if I can create a space program where everything is sent up with a SSTO reusable craft using this and spaceplane +.....

What I do is instead of setting the things inside the cargo bay, I set them on a flat surface somewhere else and then you can use the snap green dots and stuff works okay, then pull it off the flat surface and put the whole thing into the cargo bay. The trick is to put the docking port on a flat surface somewhere where you can angle the camera and look at the docking port side on, then when you take the other docking port, it will 'click' in and lock normally. Alternatively, you don't need 2 docking ports, you can 'dock' any part on top of one and then it will undock normally during your mission. Also, saving cargo assemblies as a subassembly is a very good way to reduce anger inducing stress. Especially if you make them in the VAB instead of the SPH.
  20. These models have so much potential. I may attempt to devise a plugin and learn how to code just to use these models. They are so cool. Good job on them. Rep incoming and followed this thread.
  21. You will need to use a precooler for airbreathing engines when you are using interstellar. Or alter some configs to reduce heating because of interstellar.
  22. Sounds cool, do they animate out of the crate form into little things?
