I was installing my mods on KSP 1.12.2 when I saw that the atmosphere looked weird. Also, upon flying slightly above the atmosphere (around 100km up above Kerbin) there would be weird discoloration on my craft which would suddenly disappear when flying above about 130km. I tried switching out AVP for BoulderCo's stock EVE configs which solved the atmosphere problems, but I would still like to use AVP. I recreated the issue on a fresh install of KSP 1.12.2 with only AVP and its dependencies. Mod List: Astronomer's Visual Pack version 4.11 with the 2k texture pack Environmental Visual Enhancements Redux version 1.11.5.1 Module Manager version 4.2.1 Scatterer version 0.0825b Screenshots: Picture using the listed mods. Kerbin's atmosphere seems to extend far beyond what it normally should using Scatterer. While this looks pretty, I don't think it's intended and it seems to cause other problems. Picture using BoulderCo's stock EVE configs. Notice how the atmosphere is much shallower and sharper Screenshot showing the discoloration effect using the listed mods while in LKO. (yes I used cheats, didn't want to fly another orbiter to recreate the issue) Steps to reproduce: Simply looking at Kerbin from the map view and flying a craft from 70-130km above Kerbin are the steps I took to show these issues using the listed mods.

...A VISUAL COLLECTION Hello! This is the LizardMan's Visual Collection, which not only provides amazing look, but is also highly editable. there are plenty of TUFX settings to choose from and you can customize the easily accessible settings to your liking. With this modpack you can make stunning cinematic videos and pictures. Why is this for? Looks: This modpack is designed to make celestial bodies and spaceships more stunning, detailed and realistic. Simplicity: This means you don’t have to bother with settings. I tried to set everything up to be in the best, most beautiful form. I also considered showing only images that look exactly like the freshly installed modpack. Always up to date: I make sure this modpack is always up to date, works on the latest versions. Just visual: It doesn't change anything in the mechanics of the game. Features: 43k clouds to Kerbin 8k clouds to Laythe, Jool, Eve High resolution terrain textures Stock parts don’t change in their operation, they only get reflective textures. Planet shine Atmospheres High resolution sunflare Better oceans Auroras Fog Important note! This modpack is currently under development. bugs can easily occur in it. Here are some screenshots for comparison: I am using KSP version 1.3.1 I'm not able to upload images here, So please refer this link: https://imgur.com/a/nQ0FJ2T, Not only those planets but moons as well, textures in the map mode looks fine but when in game mode it looks pixelated blurred and not clear. This problem persists in both the texture packs 4k and 2k. I tried with 4k first, but same problem, then I replaced it with 2k thinking my laptop is not supporting 4k, again same problem. The hardware is compatible. So what is the issue? Also before installing all the other mods unrelated to Astronomer's visual pack I tested it once but, same problem. Please tell me how to fix it? EDIT: Kerbin looks just fine both in Map and game modes, Problem is with only other planets. AND I used CKAN to install mods.

I was wondering if Stock visuals and Astronomers were the only visual packs? I can't seem to find any others and i didn't know if they are just the only ones or they're just the BEST ones. Sorry if this is a dumb reason to create a new thread! Love you all!!!!

So I have installed AVP, along with all the dependencies, yet the clouds are not showing up in the main screen. Scatterer appears to be working, but that's it. I have the up-to-date versions of AVP, along with the 4k texture pack, scatterer, eve and TUFX. Please if anyone knows what the problem is can you let me know.

I have a bug that makes the game entirel unplayable. Ok so when i go to the mun, the closer i get, the more laggy it gets, and when i try to land, the altimeter at the top breaks around 2.5km above the surface, it just says 1, but mechjeb is fine so i continue. But about 20m above the surface, i just explode? I have all the indestructible cheats on and it still happens, i try minmus and duna and it still happens. On minmus and duna i also went through the ground amd exploded about 10m BELOW the surface. Whats going on? I thought it astronomers visual pack causing the lag, and the lag causing the bugs, but nope. I removed it along with eve and scatterer and its still just as laggy. The only other thing maybe is sigma dimensions. Im using 6.4x size with 9.6x distance, 0.3 terrain. Ive had this isse before with no way to solve it and wasnt using sigma then so i dont think its that either. Im using ksp 1.8.1, i have a ryzen 5 2600, a 2070 super, and 16gb 3200mhz ram.

I want to get some good clean screen shot comparisons of the two so I get a idea of what I want. (It's hard to see comparisons on the images and stuff.)

I installed the astronomer's visual pack recently and encountered a very weird water glitch where the water looks white and the waves are broken, VERY stretchy triangles. I installed using CKAN and I'm not sure what's causing this water issue. Here's a list of mods that I have downloaded. The only conflict AVP has is with EVE configs which I don't think I have installed. What's causing the issue and how do I fix it?
