  1. I've solved the missing water for now, but anything I do to fix any other issue somehow seems to mess with it. On average, at least. The texture config for the volumetric clouds is missing, which I bet is a part of it, although I can't seem to find one. Not from the default config or AVP, which I've uninstalled because it messes with my game in general ways. I've concluded this because they seemed to resolve themselves once I deleted it. This part is a bit different from the rest, but every time I click "add segment" to an Astra Porta part from Blueshift, my game crashes. First, the screen goes black while the session continues. Next, I hear explosions. While the screen is black, I can't press any buttons most of the time, so I have no choice but to end the game. When I can press buttons, I usually go to either the space center, where it's usually not black anymore, but right after that I go to the tracking station, where it's black again and I can't press any buttons again. Other times I'll just go straight to the tracking station and I get the same result. Apparently, once the screen goes black, my vessel deletes itself, only for me to load the game again and It's just sitting where it was untouched like nothing ever happened, still not counted as a ring segment. Also, I can't find the file location for the flags. (it's not in the root file) My full ksp save is here. (including ksp.log)
  2. I have this issue whenever I approach the cloud layers on any planet. The particles are always pitch black. I installed EVE Redux via CKAN, along with the stock configs for it. I don't know where I can upload my KSP log file. If you could provide a place to do so, that would be awesome. Thanks.
  3. Hey KSP People! First Post, so I hope this is the right place. Lately i've been trying out some graphics mods like "Spectra", "Astronomers Visual Pack", "Environmental Visual Enhancements", "Stock Visual Enhancements", "Scatterer", ... as well as different Skyboxes. However, sadly, they all looked absolutely terrible. Especially the terrain on Kerbin was so awful thaat I just instantly quit. Some of them looked worse than the Vanilla game. I've installed all of them via CKAN, trying out their different configurations on different versions of KSP, but there's just not been a single mod that really convinced me. I'm currently on KSP 1.9.1 Am I doing something wrong? Are there any better mods that I don't know of? Do I need special configurations for those mods to work properly? I really hope somebody can help me with this, I've seen KSP look better in some YouTube videos and just can't achieve that level of visual realism it seems
  4. I wouldn't really call this a full graphic novel because it's pretty short, and it's my first one so it's probably not the best, but I still hope you all enjoy it! This will be the first part of a series taking place in the "Beyond Home" version of the Kerbol system. I was inspired to make this part specifically because of Tribute's in-game description, which is really great. Well, all the descriptions are great, really, as well as--actually, you know what, just play the darn mod, it's amazing. Here it is: Sorry about that typo on page 4, btw. I'll try to make as little of them as possible (Yes, English is my native language--I just suck at writing/typing it sometimes lol). Finally, some criticism would be nice--I want to know how I can make the future parts better, after all! (Credit to @Gameslinx for the amazing mod "Beyond Home"!)
  5. Ok, so I'm running Environmental Visual Enhancements (latest EVE and configs from github) with it's clouds and city lights, nothing else, and I find myself wondering a thing. City lights, they're great, yeah. But are they supposed to disappear once you get closer? I vaguely recall reading something that suggested this. I've provided some images to demonstrate my problem. Figure No. 1: As you can see below, the city lights are working properly from orbital and even aerial altitude. No complains here. Figure No. 2: But once Jeb lands and plants a flag, the city lights don't disappear or fade to grass or anything, they just stick around in one ugly blob. So, IN CONCLUSION, the question I'm here to ask is whether this is a bug, or a feature. Do the city lights stick around in your games? Are they 'sposed to?
  6. I've been scouring for a place to find where the eve file for extrasolar is, ever since AndrewDraws removed the github page it has been impossible to get ahold of. I really need it because I based an entire project around the valentine system, and I would like it to look nice. It's a video idea, so I'll upload it when it's done.
  7. Hey there, can someone help me with the Environmental Visual Enhancements (EVE) mod? I've recently installed it via CKAN for version 1.2.2. and I was expecting tp open the game and see beautiful clouds and city lights. Instead all I saw wasa window saying "EVE 1.2.2.1 Config Editor" and below it there're all these informations and names and settings, and I have absolutely no idea how to deal with it. What are these settings and how do I use it? How do I change those configurations and what do they mean? I just want some clouds and city lights I would IMMENSELY appreciate some help! I hope someone can help me with this because it's all very confusing...
  8. Here is the forum thread to my super awesome 1.0+ Visual Enhancement Mod. Guaranteed best pack in the world or your money back. >_Avionix
  9. So I am having some strange problems with Environmental Visual Enhancements. The daytime clouds only appear on one side of Kerbin and the other side nighttime clouds, regardless of whether it is daytime or nighttime (basically, half of the clouds appear black, the other half appears white). The side that has the white clouds is determined by the direction I last looked at Kerbin in the map view. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? I think I have seen this happen to other people, but I can't seem to find anyone who has actually solved the problem. Thank you in advance.
