  1. Reported Version: v0.2.1 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Microsoft Windows 11 Pro 10.0.22631 64-Bit | CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core Processor (24) | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 (24340MB) | RAM: 65459 I have put a vehicle with multiple hydrogen tanks in an almost polar orbit around Jool. When returning from map view (but also on other occasions) the reflections on the tanks start to flicker like a strobe as if they were turned on and off. Logs provided are from a playthrough with mods, but it also happens without mods. Included Attachments: ForSci_Bug41.mov ForSci_Bug41_Flickering_logs.zip
  2. Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows | CPU: Intel Core i7-8700 3.20GHz | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 | RAM: 32GB On a minmus mission in the new For Science! update i noticed a smoke cloud appearing while i was flying my rocket. I thought it would go away but it stayed even when i landed on minmus and went outside the rocket. It hasnt happened to me before, it only happened on this mission. Included Attachments:
  3. Reported Version: v0.2.1 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Win10 | CPU: Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-11400H @ 2.70GHz, 2688 Mhz, 6 Cores, 12 Logical Processors | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU GDDR6 6GB | RAM: 32gb Parts can be made half-transparent in VAB (but they spawn normaly) Reproduction: 1 hold a part in vab 2 press "2" on your keyboard (or click "rotate and translate" button) 3 click on any placed part 4 press "1" on your keyboard (or click "selection tool" button) 5 place part in your "hand" Included Attachments:
  4. Reported Version: v0.2.1 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS | CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3400G | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti | RAM: 32GB Upon a recent mission to Eve, I found that the craft I made seemed to be too wide for the atmospheric entry effects to cover the entire craft. I'm including a video that shows what I mean along with a save during the moment it was most noticeable. Included Attachments: Screencastfrom02-11-2024032211PM.mp4 re-entry_bug.zip
  5. Reported Version: v0.2.1 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 10 | CPU: Intel Core i5 | GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 | RAM: 16GB Severity: low Frequency: med Description: Occasionally, when a time warp is aborted, kerbals in a vessel start panicing (as much as they can) and sometimes do not even calm down after a while. I would guess that an abrupt stop of the time warp is sometimes wrongly interpreted as an extremely high-g event.
  6. Reported Version: v0.2.1 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: win10 | CPU: i710700k | GPU: rtx2060 | RAM: 32gb Moving the camera around with RMB still causes the UI elements to blip and bloop and click. Should be inactive when I have no intention of clicking (because I'm busy moving the camera at the moment). Included Attachments: cmrbl.mp4
  7. Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 10 Home 64-Bit (10.0, Build 19045) | CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800 X3D 8-Core Processor | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 | RAM: 32768MB Severity: Low Frequency: High, consistently reproducible Description: When skipping text which is appearing gradually in Mission control, if the full dialog is skipped such that Dr. Keri Kerman vanishes and the text is no longer visible, the audio accompanying its gradual appearance continues to play until the text would have completely appeared on screen. 8. Reported Version: v0.2.1 (latest) | Mods: Community Fixes, Leek, Kerbal Life Hacks, K2-D2, Node Manager, Flight Plan, SpaceWarp, BepInEx, Premonition for SpaceWarp, Patch Manager | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 10 | CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 3200G | GPU: GTX 1050 Ti | RAM: 16GB 3200MHz Basically, i was trying to change my conic patch limit, i pressed escape while dragging and the dragging sound kept playing. It even changed its sounds when i selected some ui elements. Severity: Low Frequency: Always Steps to reproduce: 1. Go into settings and find a slider (preferably the conic patch one) 2. Drag that slider, and while dragging press escape to close the menu. Now the sound should keep playing. Included Attachments: 2024-01-3020-17-09.mp4
  9. Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Win 10 Pro | CPU: 5800X | GPU: 3070 | RAM: 64 CL14 Okay here is a fun one, After a launch a “fireball” continues to follow the craft through the whole mission. It has its only velocity profile relative to the active vessel (and Kerbal EVA) but it’s clearly a function of the vessel’s velocity (or acceleration) profile. video is snippets of its existences throughout the flight to show various states. I can post or provide an unabridged video if required.
  10. Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 10 | CPU: i7-10870H | GPU: RTX 3070 | RAM: 16GB Lights do not reflect off of water in a realistic way. Accurate depiction of what a spotlight should look like pointed at water here: https://eastdevonnews.co.uk/2021/11/11/exmouth-rnli-searches-for-woman-near-teignmouth/ While this may seem mostly a visual flourish thing, I can see this presenting an issue for gaugeing distance to the water surface during powered water landings at night. 11. Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 11 | CPU: R7 3800X 4300MHz | GPU: RX6600 2500MHz | RAM: GSkill 2x16GB 3000MHz Loading into VAB starts fine, but after a while sound becomes static, also making other computer audio cut in and out. Seems to mostly be tied to how many parts are in scene / how much audio gets played in the VAB. Muting the game through Windows Volume Mixer does NOT fix the popping. Latest update: Sound seemed fixed at first, but after a bunch of reverts to VAB popping has returned and persists now whenever in VAB. Included Attachments: 2023-08-2311-55-09.mp4
  12. Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS | CPU: AMD Ryzen 5900X | GPU: Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti | RAM: 64 GB DDR4 Title. Please check the image if anything is unclear. Testing is simple, not sure if it's just the NERV, or if it affects all engines. To recreate, just take a NERV, and splash around in the water. If you get the angle right, you can place the exhaust between your camera and the splash. Not sure if this is something that could possibly be done, but perhaps changing the splash to a Unity point cloud could be visually better. Included Attachments:
  13. Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 10 Professional | CPU: 5800X | GPU: Zotec 3070 with improved fans. | RAM: 64GB CL14 So if you splash down and your camera is pointing "up" you see nothing but blackness, same issue if your ship is underwater, you can't see anything. 14. Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 11 | CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X | GPU: Nvidia RTX 4070 | RAM: 32 GB DDR5 Save / auto-save workspace blip sound effect is much louder than other sounds and it scares me.
  15. Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Wine 9.0-rc3 on Linux | CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 | GPU: NVIDIA 3060 Ti | RAM: 32GB When a slider UI element has been grabbed, a "tick" sound effect is constantly played after the mouse has moved once. This is presumably intended to simulate the sound of a dial or such being moved, but once started, the sound plays constantly until the left mouse button is released, even when the mouse is not being moved. Severity: Low Steps to reproduce: Open the settings menu. Click and hold the left mouse button over the "Heat Scaling" slider in the General category. Confirm that no sound effect is played. Drag the slider left or right. Confirm that the "tick" sound effect is played. Stop dragging the mouse, but keep the left mouse button held down. Observe whether a sound effect is played. Expected behavior: No sound effect is played after the mouse stops moving. Observed behavior: The "tick" sound effect continues playing even after the mouse stops moving.
  16. Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 10 | CPU: i7-10870H | GPU: RTX 3070 | RAM: 16GB The simulator cyan shader seems to be applied over the reentry/heat effects in a way that makes them look rather janky.
  17. Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 10 | CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700 Eight-Core Processor | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 | RAM: 16GB When near a celestial body, like Kerbin, the time warp ui is locked so that you cannot timewarp past a certain point. This is as expected. However, when you press the period key while at the current maximum timewarp, the sound effect for time-warping still plays. This disjoints the sound effect from the actual time warp. To replicate: Approach Kerbin surface from orbit. When your time warp is locked due to proximity to Kerbin, get to max timewarp. Then, keep pressing the "increase timewarp" key. The sound effect for increasing timewarp will still play despite the timewarp itself not increasing. This effectively disjoints the sound from the actual timewarp mechanic. In short, the timewarp limitations aren't properly applied to the timewarp sound effect. I re-entered Kerbin at orbital speed and the plasma did not cover the beams that were placed vertically, the heating effect looked as if the beams were placed horizontally: Included Attachments: AutoSaveBurn12_27_202310_28.json

Yes OS: Windows | CPU: 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12600KF | GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6800 | RAM: 65376 MBytes Hey, to make it short, the engine plume sometimes disappears for less then a second and reappears again. This happend to me multpultiple times on ascned, descend, different engines and on different altitudes (only tested for launches from KSC). It seems that the camera perspective and the gimbaling of the engiens also do not effect this bug. I hope this helps. Included Attachments: KerbalSpaceProgram22023-12-2523-18-04.mp4

Description: When splashing down in a Mk1 "Tin Can" Command Pod, there are some strings in the soundtrack which stop and start as the pod bobs up and down in the water, no doubt tied to the state of being submerged. Doesn't sound very good because of this, so I assume it's not intended behaviour. Sorry about the nighttime video Included Attachments: KerbalSpaceProgram22023-12-2113-26-17.mp4

Yes OS: Windows 10 | CPU: i5-12600K | GPU: RTX 3060 | RAM: 32GB Expected behaviour: Music restarts after the track finishes. Actual behaviour: Music stops, leaving you in an awkward silence with Keri. Steps to recreate: Enter mission control and wait for about 3 minutes for the music to end. Wait some more to confirm it has ended.
