Alright as a semi blender noob I would like to know if anyone knows what to do when you get a missing script files warning on blender. Currently it is not working and I cant seem to find a fix although its probably obvious.

Thanks in advance

Check that both addon folders are in the right spot and that they are both enabled in Blender. If you press Ctrl+Alt+U, go to addons, and then type 'ksp' in the upper left you can check that everything is at least that far.

If you still have issues, let me know!

I see you're offline so I'll fix it for you. :)

Thank you very much!

I had already done that. It doesn't solve it. :( Anyways, thanks.

Mariohm1311, did you see the link I posted a earlier today? You'll need to add light sources to your scene. http://imgur.com/a/ZdhDz#0 Or you can search on youtube for blender 3d cycles lighting for more info. Should solve your problem. :) Also you can delete the default light that Blender uses.

If there is enough interest I can post a "template" you can use to import your KSP stuff. It'll have some lights already preset, with a plain back drop. It would be similar to this:

Thank you for the update! First of all, can you provide a full guide on how to get a textured model on Sketchfab? All I can get is one without the textures!

Just upload the .blend file. I believe that works.

That would be pretty nice.

Ok, I'll see what I can come up with. (lol...I guess one person is enough interest haha) I might actually put the lights on tripods, sort of like studio lights lol.

Oh, also I will be trying to see if I can get Remote Tech and SCANsat parts added to the part definitions. I already have the blend file with the parts all lined up, just need to do the definitions lol.

Doing Kerbal Attachment Systems is going to be....a challenge. Not sure how the winch part would work, if it does at all.

No, it isn't a problem of ilumination. As I posted before, when I move the camera to point-blank, it sees something. I even added a huge plane emitting light and that didn't make any difference. I'm really confused...

I know for me when I import something the scale is really big. If you go to one of the side views (number pad 1, or 3 should work) and do a box select (B) around just the craft you imported and push S and move the mouse around a little, maybe that would help.

Could you maybe do a print screen from a few angles and show us what it looks like in blender before the render?

It looks like you're already working on KW Rocketry and Kethane, so, I think I'll start on AIES Aerospace today.

Kethane is basically done. I've started on B9 Aerospace, but it's going to be tricky because there are sooo many parts. I haven't done anything for KW Rocketry though.

Well, it appears it is working now... Not sure what I did...

What's the poll for?

Also please let me know if/when you make a release thread so I can change the link in my dev sticky.

The pole is for adding a mods parts' to the addon. Currently without adding anything it only works with stock parts, although you can take time and add modded ones yourself.

Will do!

The poll is mainly to gauge interest in different mods. I personally haven't ever played with parts mods and don't know much about which ones are popular. Since it's a reasonably large time investment to incorporate each set, I'd like to do it in the way that makes the most people happy first.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
