As I CBB with micromanagement involved with playing with RT, I'd like to see some of those antennas available for us mere AntennaRange users. TIA.

AntennaRange compatibility config is ready, it will be added to the next release :)

Hello, Sigma. I was wondering... when it's released, can you make a ΣME for the Planet Mod I'm contributing to? (Stockalike GP2)

The stuff I release is cfg modifications I make for myself and then share with the community

I will gladly try your mod

If I feel like it could use some extra feature, I will run it by you. If you like the idea you will have the choice to add the feature to your mod directly or let me release it as an expansion.

I do this for every expansion, just to be sure the mod devs are fine with that.

I think Augustus should handle configs, and I could also handle the planet/satellite/sub-satellite descriptions.

honestly doing ΣME takes up almost all my free time and I'm also working on my own planet pack, but If I get some bonus time I will make sure to come visit your thread and dropping some tips or ideas

Yes, if you need advice or help with anything, don't be afraid to ask me. If I can't figure out a solution to a problem, then I will be more than happy to point you to someone who can.

Apologies, but I'm a bit confused as to which download link to follow if I want all the things; color, tilt, plu-kha. Is that the "full download" one? Sometimes it's hard to know when you always second guess things and have to be dead sure.

The OPM bundle; the full download also includes the RemoteTech expansion. (BTW I'm guessing, but the OPM bundle seems to have all the OPM stuff.)

This still work with the new release of OPM? Is there anything I need to do? The locations of the .bins seem to have changed.

This release is not 100% compatible with the new kopernicus (used by opm 1.7)

I was ready yesterday but I found a problem with pluronkhato.

The new release should be out later today tho ;)

Hi karretch,

If you want all the opm stuff but not remote tech you can download the opm bundle

Since the last release you can mix and match whatever you want, so if in the future you'll want to add remote tech expansion you wont have compatibility problems.

The "Full Download" has everything you can find in the OP

everything is ready for the next release, I will wait to see if I can get an answer from MOARdV regarding Distant Object Enhancement.

If I don't get a solution soon I will release without that fix and then put out an update later

The Remote Tech Expansion Outer Space Comms adds 3 new dish antennas that have range increasingly higher in order to reach planets outside Jool.

Another quick thing: with Distant Objects, Pluron/Khato seems to be the brightest object in the sky other than the sun:

I had a quick exchange of PMs with MOARdV and he managed to solve the flare problem

If you are using SigmaPluronKhato plus DistantObjectEnhancement keep an eye on his thread, a release should come out with the fix to the problem :)

the new Distant Object Enhancement patch solves the bug of the big flare from Pluron-Khato

I've published DOE v1.5.6 on GitHub and KerbalStuff.

Changes:

  • Big flares appearing for small/dim worlds is fixed. Issue #16.
  • A few changes to hopefully reduce memory footprint when some features are not used.
  • Sky dimming has been changed: Updates are shown immediately when "Apply" is pressed. Sky dimming now affects Tracking Station and Space Center views. Planet dimming near the sun has been tweaked.
