Not by 3D printing, but in a much more affordable way: he prints them on paper. The results are great and he has created templates for (almost) all stock parts and a large number of mod parts already. If you haven’t before then be sure to look at his <a href="http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/84621-Paper-Space-Program-%28-a-k-a-KSP-Rocket-Parts-Papercraft%29"><b>FORUM THREAD</b></a>. <br/></p>

Hey look! One of the two people that 3d printed their craft!

That's papercrafted, not 3D printed:

Very nice for being made of paper.

Has anyone tried printing the templates onto polystyrene sheets - the sort used for modelling - that could then be cut-out with a craft knife?

I've been looking at some of the plans and wondering how difficult it would be to use thin sheet aluminum. Several dimensions would need changed; it would be a lot of work to adapt the plans, let alone build the whole model... but would probably look great!

I just looked at the facebook page, you used the wrong title for this. I was just assuming "Project Green Hope" was hope for being able to have kerbal spaceship models. It's this video.

You dun goof'd, [Kasper?] :P

EDIT: I actually would be willing to bet that TheS3lsner(creator of video) got really excited, then wanted to destroy an entire house in rage at all paper models.

I would pay good money (Not $99 or anything crazy like that but, say, $20 or so, or maybe a few bucks a page or whatever is reasonable) for delivery of all the printed pages for a submitted craft.

You dont need to pay any more than the cost of the printer ink and the paper :) He has shared all the plans for making these. check it out HERE

It's too hard for me to do myself. Too small parts

Not to bad actually, just takes a lot of patience and a very sharp exacto knife.

Has anyone tried printing the templates onto polystyrene sheets - the sort used for modelling - that could then be cut-out with a craft knife?

I am using an exacto knife on the paper print out I see no reason it would not work on polystyrene if you printer can print on it. (By the way if you have a source website for sheets that can be used in a conventional printer please PM the link )

I hope I stick with this I really want a cool model to share with you all in a couple months :)
