Squadcast Summary 2015-04-03 - The Closed for the Holidays Edition

Online resources tell me that April 3rd (Good Friday) is a "bank holiday" in Mexico. If that's anything like a Canadian bank holiday well - let's just say that only banks take those here. *cough* Ahem.. anyhow, the title of the KSPtv channel was "KSPTV: Squad office closed due to national holiday. No Squadcast", and that's all the info I have :/

(Interestingly enough Good Friday is a statutory holiday in Canada, not a bank holiday. Of course, that means that I get overtime, not time off~)

A summary from a different member!? Madness!

Actually I've been covering the "Squad missed the Squadcast" summaries lately. OWK only does the ones with content ;)

Lol, you made me look up the origin of the word "Easter". Apparently it's from pagan German roots so some Christian sects don't use the name. Source here and verified at a couple of other sites.

Denomination. Sect refers to a group considered to be heretic.

Some fun astrological info on how Easter is calculated. Long story short Good Friday is the Friday before the first Sunday following the first full moon following the vernal equinox. It commemorates Jesus' death upon the cross prior to resurrection, if you're inclined to believe in such things.
