Glad the Round8 is staying. I was going to mod it in, so I wasn't complaining.

But that tank is aesthetically and structurally unique, i use it a lot, i dont use xenon almost ever, so... Good move!

And, wow, can't wait for this patch. So many nice additions and changes keep popping up.

I did mean to say Universial Storage, but yes it's more similar to the 6S service compartment mod.

Also, Roverdude, is there a storage part without the central pillar in it?

Its such a drag to have so much drag, especially when its so high that you can more or enter kerbin's atmosphere at 100km/s, aiming right at its middle, and slow down to less then 200m/s before impact. This is a joke. At least the reentry (or so i hope) will be plausible but not too limiting when it comes to aerobraking on SSTOs.

I doubt that infinigliders will still work, because the calculations and modeling of drag, lift and control surfaces will be different. Changing the atmospheric density won't matter.

He said they very likely wont be. They're ablative, which means that heat chips away at them as you reenter, so they'll be destroyed on reentry.

I'm not quite understanding. Even if they have limited heat protection. They could still be useful.

I was planning on making a base on duna, eve, laythe, mun, and minmus, and having reusable and modular rockets to go between bases (fully reusable, like just refuel).

You could have a detachable heatshield system, using docking ports. All you have to do is make sure that all your resupply ships bring heatshields.

Hopefully they have an abalation(?) gauge so we can see how much more they can take between uses. I hope to aerobreak at jool, then re-aero break back at kerbin to resupply and replace them then.

No thanks, my retroburn way is good enough for me. I want it to be self sufficent, no need to launch anything from kerbin after all modules are there.
