Anybody have Joystick suggestions?

Well now that I\'m play Oribter, I really want a Joystick to play Orbiter with.

Anybody have suggestions for a Joystick under $30?

I will also be buying KSP within a few weeks.

The joystick I use is a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, it is $30 and a good buy in my opinion.

I use a CyborgX joystick. Its quite solid, folds, is adjustable and has served me well for about two years now.

It was about £35 if I remember correctly ($55.69 ish). Slightly higher than your requested budget but it stood up to my dad trying to fly a plane with it (Basically he tried to show-off on x-plane, lost altitude, tried to pull up by attempting to push the joystick beyond its normal limits).

I have a Saitek Av8r (version 1) and I love it, all the toggles make it fun, and the cover over the 'go' button makes me feel like a real pilot. 8)

The thing about joysticks that bugs me is that they all work pretty well when new, but after a couple of months of use they get a little loose around the centerpoint and then you can never exactly zero the thing again. No matter how carefully and often you calibrate them after that, rest position never stays right on neutral. But it\'s been a while since I had a game that needed one, so does that still seem to be a problem with new ones?

I just bought a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro so I\'ll let you know. I\'ve heard of a few others complain that it seems loose like you mention after ~15 hours of use.

if you have an Xbox controller or ps3 controller, then you can do it for free :\'D. of course it doesn\'t give the feeling like you are a real pilot but it still is more precise and i love playing it with my ps3 controller.
