Cira VIII

Designer: Zekes

Status:COMPLETED

Cost: $2,069,299.00

Do you need to put 1000 tons into LKO RIGHT NOW? Then this is your rocket! Guaranteed to be 99% reliable. Simply fly as a normal rocket, and stage when engines run out. Warranty voided if fairings collapse, they can't seem to take the weight of 1000 tons too well.

How much fuel is 1000 tons? :P

And my God, two million funds? That's more that the combined worth of my entire Hard mode space center! :0.0:

(Speaking of which, now that I upgraded to 1.0.2, I'm not gonna do Hard mode anymore. :) Still too slow... at least, until I'm used to the new mechanics)

It's over 1,200,000L of LF+O, and puts out over 1 million Newtons of thrust.

I see you've surrounded it with a salt circle to keep the Kraken away.... :D

The clipping, the clipping is real.

the clipping is indeed real... but that's how I make the 2nd stage, by tradition. I could spread it out but I think it might look weird...

Riiiight. That clears up a few things. I actually feel better for having failed my first 1000t to LKO experiment. :D

Still must of been a challenge to make, still a great build.

Haha damn it cost as much as my entire refueling station :P.... I wonder if it could lift my refueling stations rocket into orbit... this must be tested, pretty sure it weighs more than the 1000 tons though... that might be a problem, might need to cut it in half. still.

Idk how im going to go about trying to put this rocket on top of your rocket, it has no core hmm.

i knew staging would cause problems lol, idk why it dislodged the side boosters that ruined everything haha

Disaster struck in the form of the launch clamps, they came at about mach 5 and destroyed the rocket lmao, i still cant believe what happened, they appeared from no where with such aggression

Wow... the explosion... debris is still hitting the ground lol.

For the launch clamps, i encountered that problem with my Chaos star mk2 - basically, if one of the launch clamps is hanging in the air (and not resting on the launch pad) it 'appears' next to your flying rocket from time to time (at least, until you discarded the boosters they were attached to) - which can be pretty dangerous :P

Now that i try to keep all those clamps on the launch pad, i don't see the bug anymore :)

(Though, the clamps are still wobblier than before :P)

Interesting, idk if you could get away with removing them being such a tall and top heavy rocket, i mean its taller and as wide as the VAB at the top
