Tosh
Well, H&S Tinkering Workshop proudly announces that our tinkerers have finally learned normal mapping. And here is the first release:Di-Couplerv1.1It may look a bit worn, but it still serves its purpose: attach two parallel stacks to your rocket or plane -- and then throw them away.In version 1.1:[li]New, even moar detailed textures,[/li][li]Several cfg tweaks (incl. enabling fuel crossfeed; thanks Tiberion!).[/li]Download 1.2 Mb (must be logged in).Warning! Requires KSP v0.15 or higher!(Sadly no 'share-alike' this time, \'cause new KSP part format technically does not allow to create a derivative project.) sal_vager
Very cool, but then everything you make is brilliant.
Tosh
Very cool, but then everything you make is brilliant. Why, thanks))It was just an exercise (and, well, a part for my standard Mun rocket, I\'ve gotten a bit tired of 3-way symmetry ). Now I can add normal mapping to my other parts...And I wonder which one goes first =P
Blinkin
The one that\'s awesome?Wait they all are...
Thobewill10
Is there a way I can get symmetry in SPH to work with this?
thorfinn
Very good, just today I was thinking 'hey, we could really use 2-way and 4-way couplers besides the old tricoupler'. Very well!(Do you have a 4-way also?)
Tosh
Is there a way I can get symmetry in SPH to work with this?Sadly, no Do you have a 4-way also?)I don\'t, but NovaPunch pack may have; try it out.
Tiberion
there\'s a a few 2way and 1 4way in NP, yes, but they currently have a fuel bug in them (needs a config tweak)I see this one doesn\'t have it either; Did you check that it pulls fuel for both engines through the decoupler? The stock Tricoupler now has this: // keeps fuel from flowing FROM the bottom nodes (prevents stack imbalances and such)NoCrossFeedNodeKey = bottomOtherwise it only pulls fuel for one of the 3 engines attached. I\'ll do some tests and update a file.
dannyboy1238
I thought novapunch also had one of theseEdit:Nice job as always though!
Elven_sword
This is definitely designed for planes. How about an aviation pack, tosh?

togfox
Nice. Im surprised no one as done this sooner. Thx!
Taverius
This is a really neat model! You oughto take a look at the dual couplers in NovaPunch, since symmetry works with those, and that\'s pretty handy
Tosh
You oughto take a look at the dual couplers in NovaPunch, since symmetry works with those, and that\'s pretty handy *Upon looking at NP configs* Ah, you mean stackSymmetry = 1.CFG parameter? Yep, thanks, it works. I\'ll include this tweak into the next release.
pilot00
When I try to put it on my plane its not on the side like yours.. It faces up, vertical :S What am I doing wrong?
Kreuzung
Did you rotate it? Manual part rotation is a requirement now...
Tosh
Did you rotate it? Manual part rotation is a requirement now...UPD: use <WASDQE> keys. Or <Shift + WASDQE> for precise rotation.
