Caught an Asteroid. What do I do with it?

Recommended Posts

You could build a base on it. And if you're unsure what to build, ask the community to design modules and implement them in your game :)

No, but if you hit the buildings they will be destroyed.

Better try it in real life first before risking my career save.

Use it as a resource mine. It just needs a couple of mining ships clawed onto it at odd angles, with a few eccentric prospectors flying around the place. Once you've attached a drill, resource converter, a couple of fuel tanks and an engine, you can more easily move it into a lower orbit for use as a self-refilling fuel depot.

Or attempt to bomb KSC with it, your choice :D

The humane thing to do would be catch-and-release.

Yes, agreed.

Or catch another and bring them together with ... the KLAAAAAAAAAAAAW.

And then post a Pic, you will be Epic .

Good Hunting and all the best.

Thanks for all the great ideas. I was going to use it as a fuel depot until I saw another post on here saying how little fuel you can actually get out of them. So to destroy KSC it is, I guess.

Edit: Will post pics
