How much do we have, how much energy needed to keep it breathable (temperature/pressure), how many/what type of air scrubbers are there?

Communications survey.

With whom can we talk for how long (time window/energy requirements)?

Food survey.

Who of you looks the tastiest? (not me)

Sad but true.

Estimated lifetime without food could expand several weeks, discovering mandatory elements on the base to substitute some of the lacking nutrition would be a task of high priority.

Therefore, a (bio-) chemist would be usefull to determine conversion of inedible stuff to digestible stuff.

If there ain`t any, back to above described option...

For smallish amounts of oxygen, we can use electrolysis on the water, which also gives us hydrogen.

Also, I'd imagine that we would have access to gunpowder, which has saltpeter, which has oxygen. Good luck getting it out.

Looks like the "hands" match the "handle" and the "fingerprints" match those on gun. I scout out and find what appears to be a alien mining train. My metal detector goes crazy. Set a beacon so I can come back.

I checked the area with fuel tanks, and find them all completely full... Eerie.
