It's been too long. Squad said they would think about multiplayer after the game is released and the game is two months released now.

here ladies & gentleman is someone who doesn't understand how coding works and how long it takes

all I am trying to say is that I have not heard anyone saying anything about multiplayer and I am not saying that the people at squad are idiots for not having multiplayer. OK?

I would appreciate it if you did not refer to me and the devs as idiots. That said, multiplayer is an ongoing effort that will unfortunately take some time to complete.

It's been too long. Squad said they would think about multiplayer after the game is released and the game is two months released now. It is time to get multiplayer to destroy your friend's spaceship to steal its fuel or dock with it to gain fuel peacefully. There is so much moar good things KSP will be if multiplayer is added. Your friends will help you get science or money. You will make grand ships together. Remember just about every game that had multiplayer released after single player doubling its copies sold number?

say no. But the truth is the truth in the end. And the truth is KSP multiplayer will make the world of KSP hate free and full of encouragement which has gone missing. This will cause squad get so much sales they will just have to worry about making KSP the best and most successful video game in the WORLD please people support this for this is the feature that KSP is just asking for and it will be greater than ever in the eyes of all. Scott Manley, ronin pawn and Jedediah Kerman will all think the game is twice as good. This is the move that will astonish and please all.

Sorry mate but that's a terrible idea. The game needs major bug fixing and optimization before even considering multiplayer.

Yeah I am just saying it needs to get more attention cause the last multiplayer mention on the devblog was a month ago.

I just can't see how multiplayer is even necessary for KSP.... its a game about building your own unique contraptions and sending them on missions that last years (in game) time.

I mean, getting people to help collect science? That's like 50% of the game currently right there that you're essentially outsourcing to friends. Helping you build megaships? so you mean I'm handing over a large portion the ship designing to somebody else... no thanks.

Boarding and stealing stuff? Isn't that just Elite... and I'm not even sure how you could even dock with a ship in space piloted by a real person who does not want to be boarded.... I'm not sure its possible to be honest. Even with the Claw, all you'd need to do is accelerate away and its unlikely anybody could catch you.

I know this is just my personal opinion, but multiplayer should just not be a priority.

It already has lots of attention. Applying any more dev work would exponentially decrease output of work and quality into multiplayer and decrease the amount of work put into the rest of the game even more.

If you want to rush multiplayer, go try DarkMultiPlayer. It's fun enough, though glitchy.

Okay, lets think here. Imagine, you and your friends are playing together, like, you and four friends. One of them is on Mun, driving a rover. One of them is launching a rocket, you and one of them are doing dogfights in Kerbin. The last one is on transit to Eeloo. Of course he wants to timewarp.

How would timewarp work in a physics sandbox game?

Would his warp be for him only? Can you imagine the exploits?

What if Mun roving friend wants to physics warp? Wouldnt you be mad if your sensitive plane suddenly tore itself to pieces?

I really want to know how multiplayer timewarp issue would be resolved. (Sorry if its already resolved by a clever trick)

Going from my example, would you land your plane for your friend to go to Eeloo? Maybe you would because youre a good person. Would your friend youre dogfighting with land and wait? Maybe he would too. Maybe he wouldnt. Those are planes. Easy enough.

But one of your friends is launching a rocket. Would you land your rocket so your friend would go to Eeloo? Maybe your interplanetary friend can wait.. In empty, boring space. Waiting for planes to land, rockets to orbit and rovers to stop.

Edit: But those are simple! What if youre on aerobrake/lithobrake trajectory while your friend is interplanetary? Well you can stop warping with requests (otherwise it would be so.. messy.) And request a slower warp so you can wait until youre close enough to reach the "fun" part like landing. While your friend is still waiting in empty space, warping slowly with you.

Then you request to stop warping and maybe your friend was a bad person/got tired of waiting/went to get snacks so he can wait more. Of course the warp doesnt stop, and you hit the ground at 10x warp.

And quicksave/quickload system..
