Not that hard to use the flat okto at the front and put a cockpit behind it and then put the klaw on top. It would be pretty well hidden if you didn't look closely.

Plus Kenlie sounds a lot like Parkaboy's kerbals do in Plan Kappa monologues.

Oh no what have I done. IT WAS THE RUNWAY! THE RUNWAAAAAAYYYYYY!!!!1! I couldn't bear you all going all tinfoil crazy on the meaning of '27' so I posted that one question "for a friend" so that SOMEBODY here would realize the Evil SSTO took off going WEST not EAST. I mean that one poor guy had to create an account it was getting so ridiculous!

So does this reveal that Mortimer is covering up the fact that there is some ship up there killing kerbals to be rescued, or is Mortimer unaware of this taking place, and is assuming that Gemmane will be rescued successfully?

Idea for a plot: Mortimer does get the astronauts nearly fired, but fails because during a test mission to the Mun, the new A.I., the K-5 Supercomputer Probe Core, jeopardized the crew of several other spacecraft. The K-5 Supercomputer Probe Core is retired, and the United Kerbin Space Probe Agency continues to use astronauts after all. Bonus points if Dr Richard Kermstrom breaks down into tears at this failure.
