My experience with the Claw is that Very Bad Things happen if it is not on the controlled craft when a connection is made. Do you have to control the tanker rather than the receiving plane when using that version?

There are people who dislike clipfests, others dislike funny color schemes, or perhaps the whole concept. Really, dont post online if you cant take some people not liking you. << This is not directed to the OP, in this case Im loving the tanker.

I just set the receiving plane to fly dead straight to the claw then switch to the tanker before it connects, and use RCS translation controls to shift the claw boom as neccessary.

It's a F35 that I haven't got round to releasing yet
