Also, will the RL10B-2 engine be compatible with the BahaSP plugin and have the extendable nozzle?

Jeez Louise, that DCSS looks really detailed... I feel like there's no way that the scrubs with low end computers like me can run that at a decent framerate...

You shouldn't have any issues at all. I test my mod/parts on my good 'ol Samsung laptop from 2009, and do the modelling/texturing/Unity stuff on my high end computer. I've made sure that all parts in the mod are as low poly as possible and don't go above 1024x unless absolutely necessary. So far I am not having any RAM or lag issues when testing the mod on my ancient relic of a laptop :) This mod is not even close to as demanding as mods like FASA and Chaka Monkey, so basically everyone with a PC should be good to go.

Just a heads up: Each finished/updated launch vehicle will start to go live (fancy way of saying "getting a download button") throughout the day. I've finished the update, and now I just need to pack every thing up and check for any last minute changes.

It occured to me that maybe not everyone wants every single launch vehicle, or maybe only need one or two of them for something specific in the game. So I decided to split the download into separate downloads, in addition to the "full pack" from KerbalStuff. This way people wont have to download the entire thing and then start deleting the launchers they dont need/want.

Sounds good? Ok then, let's start getting you guys these shiny new rockets :)

Of course, the new Vinci engine for Ariane 6 has already been using the BDAnimationModules for over a month now. Every engine in this pack that has a extendable nozzle skirt will have its skirt auto-extend once the engine is ignited. No need for silly action groups :)

Guilty! No really, have been busy with work and real life, and on top of that, a certain someone keeps "pestering" me for more parts. Soo things got a bit pushed back :)

Ahhh, no, no, no, don't feel rushed! Only joking, you do what you want/need to do! This is your mod and you work at your pace!

Who's pestering for more parts? I'll beat them up!

I'll try to spend what time I have off during the weekend to get everything organized and packed up with the new parts for release. The person "pestering" me (and I say that as a joke) is going to put a pre-release of the update through some testing during the weekend aswell, so if everything looks good I'll release the update.

This mod is very cool. I thought about doing something similar back in the summer, and it looks like you started around the time I was thinking of it, but you've gone a lot further with it than I would have.

Any plans to do Saturn 1B, Saturn V, or Delta IV Heavy?

A list of planned vehicles can be found on the first page. Delta IV is being made by Kartoffelkuchen and is being released some time after his Falcon 9. As for Saturn 1B and V, those are already made as far as I know. Doesn't FASA already contain everything needed for building every Saturn? I think even Nova is included in FASA. In addition to FASA, there is atleast one other Saturn V mod.

As for Saturn. While FASA does have Saturn-ish stuff, they aren't real scale. RO does a decent job of making them so. Both DennyTX and DECQ have made Saturn Vs as well. Each far more real scale than what FASA original ever was. Haven't seen DennyTX around recently, and DECQ is slowly rebuilding his SaturnV, but has yet to release anything.

FASA is 100% compatible with RO, if you're willing to make the commitment and play with that instead of just RSS.

Yes, the 5 ATVs that were flown in the real world are getting added with the update, in addition to a million other changes and new things.

Just a heads-up people!

This is going to cause minor delays, but it has to be done :)

I chose to scrap the Ariane 5 ECA for Ariane 5 ME. The ME configuration has better overall performance as it utilizes the Vinci upper stage engine instead of the HM7-B upper stage engine. It also uses a 8 meter Sylda instead of the old 5-ish meter one, in addition to a 20m fairing instead of a 17m fairing. This will allow you guys to launch much bigger and heavier dual payloads, and in all honesty looks a heck of a lot better than the ECA configuration.
