Some of us dream of building rockets this way. Will it be more reliable than the original?

This will take months to complete. It may need Unity 5 and all the mods updated. But it will be glorious.

Yes. It's an accurately sized N1 first stage. I might even replace the mainsails with updated Bobcat NK33 engines.

Comment if you want a RSS/Real Fuels version.

Well ... because we can!

And you can't have the fuel lines for the RP-1 running through the LOX tank, they go around. The other fuel line colours are just greeble, I say they're telemetry cables.

What is a greeble? Parts for parts sake?

Yeah, remember the Y-wing by Mad Rocket Scientist?

Anyway ... I dream of the day we'll have complex circuitry, hydraulics and such. I love designing those systems. Imagine a team of 5 people together building a rocket out of 20.000 parts, with a lot of working electronics and such. One day, that's reality my dear friends!

That would indeed be spectacular! Yes, I remember him using it in his thread. Thank you.

Making a shuttle out of aluminium and titanium with a real frame can be fun too. I started once but used steel back then. Thing became very heavy.

Now that we have aforementioned materials to choose from, it's nice to give it a go.

I'm actually thinking about doing an entire play through like this. Every rocket gets individual liquid fuel and oxy tanks with RealFuels.

However I've always been very confused as to how to calculate the ratio of fuel to oxy. And on top of that how to calculate it using different engines, different number of engines and then different types of fuels.
