Why is there a random lifting force on my RCS thruster?

Is that even lifting force? It's a different color, one I'm not familiar with.

That's the color that shows up when your rocket is flipping too IIRC

Cyan is body lift, and it seems coming from the connector port - if it is connector port from KAS. Connector port in KAS doesn't seem to be physicsless so it could potentially generate body lift/induce drag.

No KAS and everything was placed with symmetry

All parts except parachutes generate lift. Light blue (cyan) is the color of body lift, the lift parts make when they don't have lifting/control surface modules.

So, if it's body lift why does it only show for one of the two identical rcs thrusters?

OP: is this repeatable? If so, does rebuilding it without symmetry effect the behaviour?

@NathanKell: Parachutes don't lift!? Isn't that their whole point?

I would suggest that the lift is coming from the tank underneath the RCS thruster block. I bet that if you take away the RCS thrusters, the body lift will still be there. Correct?
