131: Takua "The Khronikler" Kerman decides to begin a recording of Kerbal History for posterity. Unfortunately he slips on a toad-like creature and the pages of his first draft scatter in the wind, where they would later be reconstructed by at least four different historians into at least four different far-fetched and wildly inaccurate retellings of the story of Kerbalkind.

132: Looking up in wonder at the night sky, Wen Hrer Kerman (far removed ancient ancestor of the future Wernher Von Kerman) makes note of a circular region that is significantly lighter than the background and which has a greyish color. He scrawls a description of it on a piece of kapyrus, but then trips on a small pebble. The kapyrus falls into a peat bog, where it miraculously is preserved for millenia, sealing for all history that Wen Hrer was the first to discover and document the Mun (although he called it "The Grey Part of the Sky That's Sort of Roundish").

Okay I went over three sentences by a smidgen, but only two things happened xP

135: Kerbal engineering takes its first steps as a group of tinkerers at the 3rd annual Kerbal bike show unveil a super-bike consisting of six bicykles chained together into a single large vehicle, creating what is eventually recorded as the first train.

135: The wheel having been perfected, Kerbalkind deems it safe to invent the aerosol deodorant.

141.5 Wheels are outlawed as creations of the kraken, due to their bugginess during early testing.

142 With no wheels, transport is limited to walking.

143 After Silmor Kerman got tired of walking, he stowed away in a rocket, and took over manual control to fly to his destination, tragically, he was killed during landing, as the rocket had no recovery systems.

149: A particularly brilliant inventor, Obadiah Kerman, son of Bedejiah and ancestor of Jebediah, comes up with the novel idea of using the little rolly bits from trains as wheels. It turns out they're still buggy but a big improvement over whatever it was those other Kerbals had invented.

150: Advancements in technology have allowed Kerbalkind to progress from a tribal civilization to a medieval civilization. That same year, Thror Kerman founds the Kwarf Kingdom of Kerebor inside the Konely Mountain (so named for its konical shape).

152: Noah Kerman, acting under the instructions of a voice in his head, builds a huge boat in anticipation of "The Great Kludge".

165 Due to over population, and no way to get off the rock, Kerbals start living underground

- - - Updated - - -

166 kerbals are now afraid of the "open" and refuse to come out. KSP is born, except, "space" is outside the vault. They throw a kerbal out to see if he will survive. He does. While a few do venture out, most don't as the Kraken legend lives on. Most kerbals spend their days playing Fallout New Vegas as the irony is not lost on them.

168: Kmaug the Light Green swoops in from the Badlands and lays waste to the Kwarf Kingdom of Kerebor. Most of the treasure is lost, but a small ring falls into a nearby river and is washed far away, where it is later found and kept secret by Bilbo Kerman.

169: Wen Hrer's son Vernor Kerman peers into the sky through a skylight in one of the underground vaults and notices a bluish smudge. He vigorously wipes the skylight, but to no avail. In a daring escapade, he ventures outside the vault to try and wipe the outside of the skylight, but upon going outside notices the bluish speck is in fact on the sky itself, becoming the first Kerbal to observe and document Minmus.

Well, you want modern trains? I'll give you modern.

181: Current propulsion techs are steam engines, L/OX non-throttleable engines, and solid rocket boosters. Willville invents a solid rocket powered plane whilst Orbur invents a L/OX powered plane. Willville achieves supersonic speed at an altitude of 300 m whilst Orbur achieves 20 km flight distance.
