I think the first stage is very detailed. What do you think?

I did not vote, but let me contribute a bit regarding detail.

Building a functional analogue to the Atlas boost and sustainer configuration using stock parts is really quite a difficult challenge. The two boost engines on the sides were jettisoned mid-flight with the centre sustainer engine continuing to run till stage burnout. Getting these two boost engines to jettison together as a unit is a PITA to build. From an initial view, your rocket is nicely put together.

However, it requires Mech Jeb to load. You might consider removing MJ, or at least letting people know you are using it in the build ;)

I do not use MJ and therefore I can't test your design.

Atlas G is one stage, this is Atlas Centaur.

Incorrect, the version without the Centaur is the Atlas H.

Lime your rocket looks good from the pics. I don't really download other peoples craft so I can't comment on its flying and staging accuracy.

Firstly i know that the rocket did that. But i have tried to do that many times and it looks bad. And secondly it is hard to do. Third i find this annoying that my craft gets complain about stuff like this. When others that do it dont get complains. Forth i left mechjeb on there by accident sorry i will fix it now. Fifth when i talked about detail i mean how it looks

It looks a heck of a lot better than mine, that's for sure: (Yes, the payload isn't behind a fairing. Sue me.)

I never really tried to build replica rockets, the fact you took the time to do so deserves a bit of rep.

OK - Like I said - It looks good. Yes it does. Very well done. You have a good eye for making the replica look close to the real thing. That's why I gave you some rep :)

As to the side booster engines - no complaints, just a common acknowledgement that it is VERY difficult to replicate the functionality.

Thanks for the MJ removal - I'll try and fly it and then try and provide even more feedback.

Good job so far.

EDIT: launch is quite majestic, slow, but when you reach transonic there is a bit more instability than expected. After 5 launches, I've yet to get to the first staging event without toppling. I assume Mechjeb is likely more accurate and can feather the controls to orbit. I'll keep trying on manual...

EDIT 2: Made it to orbit finally by resorting to vertical ascent until drag forces were minimal, then transitioning to horizontal - so it may work with old school .25 trajectories but with 1.x it seems to be unable to respond to a proper gravity turn. I believe this is due to the fuel drain and shifting of the CoM during ascent. Still need some work. So I finally voted 'Detailed". Good job, but still can benefit from further work. I hope you consider this as constructive input.

Can it stage and a half or did the Atlas G not have it? I still have an Atlas that can do that.
This one does not have stage and a half unfortunately but the real one did. if you have one that does thats just awesome!

Oh, sorry Lime, I was thinking of Atlas H.
