In fact it would be pretty easy, just add the pretty golden trail and jam the radar/heat detection.

EDIT: Just tried it, works perfectly but the parts stay invisible when detached from the device. It also requires a lot of electric charge but 2 turbojets at full power are enough to power it for a long time.

Are you saying I should modify his device? give it its own model and all that?

I'll ask permission first if I can include his module and such

Apparently the device only uses the "SetOpacity" command, if it's really just that it would be easy to re-create it and you wouldn't get glitches from modifying a mod from another person with different coding habits. But again it's your mod so it's your choice.

I guess I could make it but, the opacity thing only seems to work on certain things... Maybe I could find another way, say, a texture replacement or something

sorry to rush you but is there a ETA for the next update (i have been checking kerbal stuff every day now)

sorry to break it to you, but the next update is involving a full texture revamp with the help of RGBPeter, and I'm still making parts and editing existing ones

I'd say, probably a week, 2 at most

pls need moar long range AA missile.

Couple things to know if you'll be posting here frequently.

1) Respect goes a long way

2) Look at what's in progress

3) Learn to spell correctly

4) For the sweet love of god, don't ask for ETAs

Be specific in your requests. Instead of "long range AA missile" (impractical due to KSP's constraints, but you'll learn as you talk to people), say SA-3 or Hawk or Patriot 1 system. It helps the mod creator have an idea what to do instead of leaving it so open-ended.

Overall, a little respect goes a long way here on the forums. There are a huge number of fans of BD Armory, some having been around longer than others (myself a little over a year now), but if we all have a baseline mutual respect, take the time to research our requests, and be more specific about what we want, the mod creators can actually produce content everyone loves without feeling hounded to do everything at once. And always remember, mod creators are people too. They have their own lives that don't revolve around KSP. Occasionally they'll need to take a break, or just put it down for a while, and that's fine, because a happy modder is a productive modder, and a sad modder is a sorry thing indeed.

I just realized that I haven't properly introduced myself in this tread, so... Hi! I'm RGBPeter and I'm revamping the textures in this mod. I started working with harpwner about 1 or 2 weeks ago. Texturing is always a slow processes and harpwner is a real modeling machine, supplying me with a new model to work on every few days. I'm not gonna tease any textures for the new parts. I want you guy's to know what to expect from the revamp, so here is a sneak-peak of the new texture for the Tomahawk.ceUN9SU.png

Now, on to the teaser texture. It's excellent and if it's a good hint of what your going to be doing in the future I'm very happy. Now, if your expecting a 'but', you're right, but its more of a personal thing. Not a huge fan of the colorful scheme (though, to reiterate, it is very well done). I'm curious if your planning for mostly 'display' textures (a la the tomahawk shown, or 'realistic' textures that are significantly more boring.

Well actually, he's basing it off of real schemes. Like it or not the Tomahawk does look like that in a few scenarios...

anyway, don't worry. It's more of a combination, there's little boring yet also not much 'flashiness'. I like it a lot.

Oh worry little for him, he has great missiles! He has conventional missiles mainly and I have big boomy things

First of all, thank for the constructive feedback. Don't worry, all the textures I do are based off real stuff. So there will still be a lot off "boring gray tube's" for you to hang under your wings :P. When a missile/rocket/bomb has multiple paint schemes in real life, I pick the one that, in harpwner's and my opinion, looks best. Most weapons don't have fancy colorful paint jobs, but the tomahawk had multiple. I based the tomahawk texture on the fist series of missiles flown by the U.S. Navy during the cold war. Ow and if you have an idea/suggestion for a paint scheme for one of the part in this mod, please tell me. Suggestions and feedback are always appreciated
