can someone confirm problem with the Kerbnik probe there is no Recovery Option when on launch pad it does not pop up when hovering mouse where it should be? or maybe its just me

never mind some other mod was causing problems

So I've recently installed the 1.3 version of lander and probes. I'm trying to use the Zeus telescope and I'm not sure if I have a conflict of some sort or if its simply not working. It only seems to produce science once. And while repeatable it does not seem to matter what I point the telescope at it does not generate any new science again. I'm curious if I'm simply using this wrong or if this is as intended.

I noted these lines in the logs when switching to the telescope:

[ERR 09:09:00.360] [ModuleScienceExperiment]: Part Module 0 doesn't implement IScalarModule

[ERR 09:09:00.361] [TransmitterModule]: Part Module 0 doesn't implement IScalarModule

After messing with this some more it appears that the science delivered depends on what the telescope is in orbit around rather than what its taking pictures of... was this intentional?

True because it's the way science module works. You can't have different reports for the same location, I was a little disapointed too when I understood this. Wait and see if Squad'll update this.

Alternatively, the CactEye telescope module could be used, or if it's too complicated, the Tarsier Space Technology space telescope module could be used. It requires a plugin, of course, but it's probably worth it.

it is possible to make the prometheus rover to transmit 100% science? because the way it dose it now it's not realistic (my opinion) why send a rover all the way to duna if it can transmit only 60% of science

Well i have serious problem with mods on kerbal, i've download the LH ESA pack v0.7.2 and it does crash my game everytime .. Does someone has a solution please? i installed the mod correctly in the good files... I really don"t understand, please help !

it is possible to make the prometheus rover to transmit 100% science? because the way it dose it now it's not realistic (my opinion) why send a rover all the way to duna if it can transmit only 60% of science

I'll try to see if it's possible.

Your packs are amazing, can't wait for the Prometheus release! Even if it's meant for Duna, I'm sending it to Eve :D

Try to make a fresh install of KSP and just add ESA mod. May be try to download again the mod, it could be a corrupt file.

Hello, thanks yogui87 for your answer, i redownloaded the game and the mod, but it still doesn"t work... i go back to my desktop after the loading yellow thing..

I'll check from my side but I don't remember having encounterd this issue before. Try to just add 1 rocket folder at time to locate where the issue is.

hello yogui87 can you continue to work on the Icarus mobile base and can you make it compatible with extra planetary launchpads please ???

The project was in stand by because I needed to update my other mods and I think I'll make changes to Icarus drop base to be better. I think it'll be my big work in september.

Yes.

As I will be in hollydays for 2 monthes, I need to finish updating Prometheus rover (fix issue with the new capsule and cruise stage) and I want to add a Cassini replica (in final test) in the next update.

Did you model the RCS system? Also, could you make each engine separate? IRL, only one of them is used at a time, the other is a backup.

RCS blocks are modelized but not fonctional: SAS is strong enough, I'm not sure rcs is necessary.

I'll not make the each engine separate because it'll unbalance the ship and I think this degree of realism is not necessary. Gameplay before realism.

RCS would come in handy. Remember, Cassini is a very big probe. It should be 2.5m wide, because the real thing is 4m in diameter! Also, engines can be rotated slightly so that their transforms point through the COM at all times. It's especially important for RSS users.

Awesome stuff as usual was wondering if you would help support and test the Beta of the new community site thats started, and upload 1 or two of your mods there. I understand if its a pain and you dont want to maintain more than two sites but this could be a real alternative to curse and every little bit helps.
