Not my best picture ever. I didn't bring a tripod so I had to bump up the ISO as high as it would go to yield a passable shot. The eclipse was about 15 minutes past maximum when I took it.

Thanks. The astronomy app on my phone tells me that the one on the left is probably 44 Psc and the one on the top is probably HD 1367.

I'm very glad I was able to stay up and see it too! It took some time coming over the tree-line but we caught it in full glow. I'll post pictures when I'm able, we used my Girlfriends camera (15k images!) and I might even have a new desktop after the week!

Wow, that was quite spectacular. I've seen eclipses before, but ... wow. Rusty red here. We had overcast skies all day. About 20 minutes before the eclipse began, we got a break. Towards the end it started to close back in a bit... chilly temperatures here, and damp, which started fogging my optics. I think (hope) I got some good shots. Post later.

The eclipse is finally over, lasting around three hours in total.

Wow. Just wow.

I saw a beautiful view of the Moon the entire time, not a cloud in the sky.

Besides that, the band of the Milky Way and hundreds of stars were visible only around 1 1/2 hours after sunset.

I did manage to capture some images around totality, but be warned as they are not of the best quality.

When it started the sky was almost clean. When the Moon was about to go completely dark a goant cloud came. It stopped raining only now. Epic fail.

I'm on the west coast of the US and we had some very heavy haze, so totality was just barely visible. Managed to get a few decent photos though:

BTW the term "supermoon" was popularized by stupid Facebook pages like "I ....ing love science" few years ago. Nobody really used that term before. It's a new meme.
