Station Builder (Youtube Video Series) [Filming has begun]

Ok, Here's the thing, I am wanting to build a space station in my KSP for the enjoyment of viewers both here and on youtube. However, I don't always want to spend time building the pieces in the VAB. So, this is where you guys come in. I will build the Station core. But I would like for you guys to create different parts to eventually be added to the station. This is, essentially, a community built station, but I will be putting the thing together in orbit myself. Please provide me with a picture of your piece as well as a location where I can get the parts!

This is a very modded install, so, these are the mods I am using which are part-based:

Space Shuttle Program - Mike-NZ

KW Rocketry

ISS

Mir

Surface Lights

Raidernick parts

lionhead

FASA

Near Future Solar

KAS

KIS

Infernal Robotics

My request is, if you use modded parts in your station pieces, please make it so that they are ONLY from the above packs. Also, if you have a suggestion of another parts mod, please tell me! I am very much open to other ideas. Thank you!

Are you using Kerbal Joint Reinforcement for this?

Yes, it was a required mod for the shuttle. As it was not a part mod, i chose to omit it from the list. That mod list was more to allow guidelines for where parts could be grabbed from so that i can access the station pieces

I made 2 parts, the main attacher bit and the solar panels.

For the main bit only put 1 crew in, the main bit has tugs/docking port adapters which the cans are for.

I forgot to get a screenshot for the other bit.

Also these downloads are for versions with launchers, (all the launchers are 100% stock).

Preferably...2.5 m...to fit station dimensions. However, if you think something of a smaller size should work well with the station or even of a larger size (My rockets can handle everything up to 5.0 m), by all means, run it by me! if you think it would be best launched and installed via shuttle, then 2.5 meter and it must fit in the cargo bay...about the size of Zoo's Saturn Shuttle cargo bay. Also, for those parts intended to go on normal chemical rockets, please provide an orbital tug for the final rendezvous and docking procedures

Ok give me a couple of days, a week max. Any wishes on lenghth and style?

Could you put some ideas out for me to choose from? For length, i have 30 minutes to play with for the video.

I could make you some weird truss to connect to a 1.25 m docking port.

Are you sure you can't add Procedural Parts? It would give more design opportunities for less parts.

BTW what's the part limit?

No part limit. Surprisingly, despite using a laptop, i have never reached the limit of my laptop's ability.

Perhaps something like this?

There's the tiny RCS tug that can be used to manipulate it prior to docking. I've deleted the stock 1.25 m and 2.5 m fuel tanks (except jumbo orange one) so I had to launch it using procedural parts tanks.

It glows red because of Surface Lights mod.
