Kerbin *SPOILERS*

Agreed. Why do they think it\'s Kearth? Kerbin is always listed as the planet, the map view says Kerbin. I don\'t get it.

I have always wondered that, too. I think since they\'re noobs, they think that throwing a 'K' in front of everything is proper lingo for the KSP community... Who knows.

Okay, I\'m back, and my oh my HAVE we gone off rails.

So, what I can glean from the thread is that we like the idea? 'A Kerbal\'s Guide To Kerbin?'

Guys, we want to look out for the interesting and the useful, like flat planes of land, hazardous mountains to a low-atmosphere plane etc...

I\'ma go check out this

about 1km away from the runway at 10 o\'clock
and I\'ll add it to the map when I do. Still waiting on that runway location...

Onwards!

[mod]Okay guys, get this back on topic or else this topic goes down to the deep, evil darkness that is off-topic! :) Also, I recommend that any map including any objects such as . . you-know-whats, that may or may not be black, stone-like material . . should be spoilered. [/mod]

Right you are.

That 'mod comment box' always makes me spoil my trousers, what with the exclamation sign and all.

I suggest to that folks use the Muon Detector plugin rather that just look them up on a map. It is much more fun and rewarding to find those-mysterious-features-that-may-or-may-not-exist by yourself.

There is no fun in just going to a location that somebody else pinpointed for you.

Agreed, a lot! The quest for all of the (ahem, easter eggs) occupied all of my spare time for a month. (It also occupied some of the time that wasn\'t to spare!) One of them is in such an odd spot that I had to custom-build a special craft to reach it. I had to discover search techniques, solve engineering problems, crawl over steep terrain, go around obstacles... You get the idea. Finding them all the hard way is much more fun than just visiting a set of coordinates.

Then why is it so black? (Not racist :-X)

Why would mentioning the colour black be racist? That\'s a very infantile and naive perception of racism that you have, you might want to edit your post.

Are munoliths on Kerbin called Munoliths or kerboliths?

Seeing as the term \'Monolith\' has the prefix, mono, to indicate the singular nature of the structure, it seems incorrect to refer to them as Kerboliths or even Munoliths. Instead they should be referred to as Kerbin Monoliths, if on Kerbin, or Mun Monoliths, if on the Mun.

Although the creative and witty play on the prefix Mono does amuse me.
