Is there something like a universal docking port?

I'm building a big tug with a sir docking port at its end, attached to a 6 sides hub with a variety of docks so I can undock it, maneuver and dock on some other side so I can connect my tug to various ships

Would be easier if like, the sir port could be docked in a normal one.

So, is there any part of any mod who could fulfill this?

You can put a normal on, offset it to the center, then put a Senior on the normal slot and have a 2-way system.

Indeed, that is possible, but that can also come with some odd malfunctions. Better to go with one of the few mods that have been made for it.

However, I am unsure that moving this post to the add-on releases forum was the best choice, since this forum is meant for releases and not necessarily for "help me find this mod" type posts. No harm either way though.

If you want truly universal docking ports that can connect to all three models of Clamp-O-Tron (as opposed to just the Jr., as the so-called "Multiports" do), check out Universal Docking Ports from Kip Engineering. (Also, be sure to get the AdaptiveDockingNode plugin.)
