IIRC, the PR guy was the one in the hazmat suit, Walt? MaxMaps is definitely the money man, Mortimer. OhioBob would be the science guy, is he Werner? (I haven't played career in a while and have forgotten the strategy kerbals)

In my stories Val is a lot more than the female version of Jeb; she's the one who knows the rules, follows them, gets others to follow them by example and inspiration, and can STILL drop a ship from orbit wheels-down on Runway 9 each and every time. I nominate Red Iron Crown. Irrelevant whether RIC is male or female--I think this is about character not casting.

I know it's how you see her, but I also have a personal idea of who she is (let me know and ill write it up for all to see). Issue is I have to filter what is and is not cannon. So fanfics are not cannon sadly not for any of my basis... But a vote is a vote.

Also, speaking of votes, I'm going to get home from work today and filter through all these posts (I thought this died then it exploded!) and get the OP up to date.

Sadly no... I don't even reconignize Kirrim as an official Kerbal. He must have more than 10 seconds of screen time in KSP official videos (like their YouTube channel) (yes I am aware he appeared in the .20(?) release video but he wasn't on for 10 seconds).

Well, the trouble with an exercise like this is that there is not much of an established canon for these characters, as the only "official" characterizations we have to go on are some brief SQUAD videos and the gameplay itself. (which I love, because I get to write my own stories and not be wrong)

You're the OP, so you get to define what is and isn't canon within this thread--but we all have our imaginings about who these wonderful little green beings are, and that's going to affect our choices. Wise of you indeed to accept that and count "a vote as a vote". Congrats on reaching 5000!

Your right, there isn't much backstory to this and it's the stories are mostly fan based. Hence why the STORIES lighten the world and give it a new color and taste every time!!! It's a challenge yes, but you guys thrive on it. If you didn't, you wouldn't play KSP. Moreover, this is a thread called, "Who is the most Kerbal?", before I should ask that question, I should ask "what is kerbal?", but knowing this, I know that this community has an answer for it . I didn't bother with that question and I asked who is the most kerbal. The community here can decide both who is, and what is kerbal.

That's a lot of chatter to say, your right! There is no backstory, but the community makes it and drives it further every day! That's what unique and FANTASTIC about this community. So every vote counts, and rules are simply to keep the trolls away since in this vote, every single one shows what it REALLY means to be kerbal.
