OK, it's letting me post normally now.  I'm all in favor of hilarity, but seriously, is there any realistic prospect of fixing the bugs so that it's actually possible to post (with quotes) from a mobile device?

Or do I just have to resign myself to the idea that I'm going to have a much narrower and constrained experience on mobile devices from now on?

I'd love it if Squad could go in and fix things, but I have no idea, first, how much bandwidth Squad has allocated for fixing bugs in forum software, and second, whether that's even realistic-- i.e. whether the forum software is a "black box" to Squad and they're pretty much stuck with whatever the forum software authors ship.

It would really suck if I can't usefully participate in the forums from my mobile device anymore. 

One thing that would be really helpful would be if Squad had a web page or a post or whatever in some prominent location to address community concerns about the forums, i.e. something along the lines of:

"We're aware of the concerns of the forum community.  Here is what we are working on:  <top few items, by priority>.  Here are the top user complaints and/or bugs that aren't going to change:  <top 10 list of items, along with reasons why it's impractical or undesirable to fix them>."

...I think that much of the current player angst is due to the fact that everyone feels like they're in the dark and don't know what Squad's intentions or abilities are.  I know that for me, at least, all the pain would be a lot easier to take if I had some idea of whether it would get any better, and if not, why not.  It would reduce FUD and help set realistic expectations.

@Snark A number of things are being worked on already, mobile use issues have already been mentioned.
