Why is there a bunch of people thinking Cygnus is going to bomb ISIS? Are they really THAT stupid?

Any kind of space forum is a hotbed for trolls and conspiracy theorists. Take any opinion you read there with a grain of salt.

What time do they deploy the solar panels?

Pretty awesome to hear a rocket from my house. Last time I heard one was the shuttle which has over 5 times the thrust of the atlas v. Wind was perfectly blowing from canaveral to my house. I am 35 direct miles west of canaveral so the strong wind really helped with hearing it. Visibility was pretty decent from my roof with some binoculars :)

Open the NASA TV schedule, I've seen it there if I recall correctly.

Your... Surprised? Where'd you here that? YouTube?

Well...to be honest, this is the second time I'm watching the launch live, and the first time on YT. First time was the DSCOVR back in February, but it was scrubbed. I slept through despite setting my alarm clock.

Conspiracy theorists were here on Saturday and they really killed the mood for me so I closed the live chat window. We'll see what happens on the 15th...

@Nick481 you might want to hurricane-proof the house before the SLS, just in case ;)

Probably what I'm looking forward to in the next few years the most is that bad boy. And if NASA sells tickets to the new viewing tower that is 2.5 miles away, I will throw my money at them. I also can't wait for the falcon heavy next spring. Even the Falcon 9 is quite powerful compared to the Atlas V. I wish I wasn't so young and uninterested in rockets when the space shuttles flew.

deploying solar array now. Will be done about 30 mins

Where was the ISS relative to the rocket here? The pic is obviously inverted, but I can't tell if the rocket is going towards them or away. Or if that's a rising or setting sun.

Did Cygnus launch into a lower orbit behind ISS or a higher orbit ahead of ISS? I thought craft docking to the ISS always are launched lower and catch up instead of the other way around.

Cuba... So I'm guessing it was traveling away from them. The gradient of the atmosphere is really throwing me off though. That looks like the edge of the atmosphere taken just as the sun sets/rises. However if they were over Cuba at the time of the launch traveling counter clockwise the ISS as well as the ground would've been in full daylight as they approached the terminator.
