I don't get that. Surely if you want to show craft that need more attention you should choose a thread that had not had many visitors.

   otherwise you just get the ridiculous situation where people just post anything into a thread to get it noticed by SCF. It negates the whole point of the thing.

Craft from that week, thats why it needs a post, i sont think he wants to dredge up showcases from years ago

Since there are more showcases nowadays on the SCE, I think we should showcase them in SCF as well!

We'll see how it goes if we decide to give it a go. Anyone else wanna have a say? After all, this is a community thing!

MRS and I have already been discussing a bit about the SCF featuring showcases.

 

@selfish_meme Yep, that's right. It won't dig up anything that is really old. If we do implement it, the showcase would had to have received a decent amount of attention in the last week, as well as have a craft posted recently. Now, MRS said at one point, that he does try to limit craft features to ones posted in the week, but if he had to, he would feature older craft (not too old, mind you ;)). It's going to be a bit tricky, but if we figure out guidelines it may be possible.

I think with Fallout 4 and no new release till after christmas it's getting harder to garner a significant response right now, so maybe implement the showcase idea after christmas closer to the release of 1.1 when more people are on the forums.

Yeah, good idea! what do you think @MadRocketScientist? Wait until KSP 1.1 to implement featuring showcases?

I think that way you can get the best of both. Stuff that's added to showcases, and the single craft releases. At least that's how I'd move it forward.
