The Protecting 'inbetween' fairing (uhhh ahhhh no Kraken appeared) decoupled without Problem.

Those Sepatrons are really needed since 1.05 because the descent stage stays as Lab and Research center at the Mun.

Right before coupling

Mun_23.png

this Took 20 RT minutes..... i had to switch to the command Module because the Ascend Stage ran out of Monopropellant

Mun_24.png

decoupling the ascend Module

and down goes the Ascend Module to Impact on the Moon for ... for ... just for reason.

Just a couple of nitpicks, laid out in a fancy bulleted list:

  • Your Saturn V doesn't have 5 engines on the first stage.
  • The real Saturn V only had 4 small fins, not six large ones.
  • Your Saturn V isn't a three-stage rocket.
  • Your Munar Lander only holds one Kerbal, not two.
  • The real Apollo CSM and Lunar Lander didn't have solar panels, they used fuel cells.
  • You did not plot and execute a Free-Return trajectory.
  • Your Munar Orbit was so high your Munar Lander Ascent Stage ran out of fuel.
  • You didn't jettison the Service Module before re-entering the atmosphere.

That was all sarcasm, don't take it seriously.

I think your lander looks cool.

Me too.

It was BOB because i needed the Science and the Lander had so much Delta-V that i did not really needed exact holding of Prograde/Retrograde. The Coupling after was a mess (as seen) because without Proper Targeting i missed the Point where i had to speed up to catch up for the Orbiter Module.

I'm wondering about that there are really People liking that Mission, because all the other stuff in here is just really crazy and interesting stuff.

Thanks so far.

I think this report is good and likable because of a few things:

1) it's new and fresh in contrast to some of the long standing reports ("long standing reports" should be used lightly here because they sometime seem more like novels - that's not a bad thing, just an observation)

2) Sirad's interpretation is Apollo-ish enough and he has used a very interesting and cool looking design

3) it's concise, easy to read, plus the screen shots are clear and well framed

just my two pence.
