Geostationary Satellite mission "line of sight" condition failure?

Recommended Posts

Can someone please explain to me why this (stock) mission is failing to complete ?

If you look at the screen you can see all conditions met except line of sight, when the LOS location is almost directly beneath the satellite. Did someone make a typo or something programming this because as far as I can see the location is within line of sight?

PS 10 mins later, while I was making this post it completed without changing anything, something is bugged, if there is a time condition on the LOS thing it needs to be stated.

PPS why doesnt Imgur button work on this BB? I tried with both full link and just code, published and unpublished, is broken. Even BB IMG tags fail.... ! Really!?

I know EXACTLY how you're feeling: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/127372-stupid-keostationary-contract-wont-complete/

Best advice I can give you is to ignore the issue for the moment. First thing you do after you start the game next time is check this very same satellite. If it still doesn't complete you can shut-down KSP, restart and check again or once again ignore it and check the next time. This is what I did and after a few times it finally completed.

As far as Imgur it works fine here in my experience?

You need to click the light grey button at the bottom right just above the dark grey "submit reply" button.

The one that says "insert other media" then "insert image from URL" then the direct link code from Imgur!
