Whatever kind of mad scientist, evil genius and crazy mastermind you are, you should never ever even think about locking KIDS in the LAB! Yup. Just like the fools who lock B.A. and his friends in a metal shop about 32 minutes into every single episode of the A-Team. I pity those fools, truly I do. Just Jim
Since it looks like it's going to be anytime now, and this is as good a place as any for an intermission, I'm taking a break until 1.1 comes out.

I'm sure she can just float off, grab something from those drawers and destroy that dispenser before Thompberry can even switch it on! kookoo_gr
that's what i was thinking when i saw the image. Couldn't just block thedispenser with just her hand? Of course this is jim's story and i like anyway he goes with the story ( i am also not nitpicking at his story), after all he has a plan for the story

Do they really want to know what will happen if it starts dripping some unknown chemicals into the beaker??? Is there no end to Thompberry's evil? Now he's even turned the life-giving coffeepot to his nefarious purposes. Oh, the horror! That's the darkest thing yet 17 hours ago, Just Jim said: hmmmmmmmmmm..... good point.... perhaps it's a gas valve instead??? IDK... just trying to work with what the game gives me... lol.... Well, what you have here is a classic Heisenberg's Cat situation. Until you post up the next installment showing the inside of the lab, the twins are both alive and dead simultaneously. So in a sense, they're already dead

Just Jim
I'm sorry I got cross... it wasn't a good day yesterday. I'm cool with people guessing what's going to happen and such. But I only have so much control over some of the screenshots. Honestly, I didn't even notice the science lab didn't have seat belts until someone mentioned it. I thought all the seats had them, and went with it. If I had it my way, they would have been tied or something, but I'm not that good with Photoshop. Just remember, it's fantasy sci-fi, and sometimes the rules get a little... fuzzy... in sci-fi.
Just Jim
Oh hey, about taking an intermission... It may not go all the way to the 1.1 update. Don't know exactly when it's coming out... if it gets held up, well... we'll see. But I really needed to take a break to do a bunch of stuff for the upcoming part. And to get re-organized and re-grouped. I'm going to be bringing in a couple new twists, and I have to get everything set up. Just Jim
EMIKO LIVES!!!! Well, I hope I didn't just jinx it... but I've been playing with 1.1 for about an hour now, and so far nothing is broken in my career game!!! Emiko Station, Duna (Thompberry) Station, Ike Colony, all loaded up just fine. And the speed increase is amazing! The DEV team wasn't kidding! I launched a 140 part satellite and the frame rate was easily twice as fast as before. The biggest thing I noticed so far, and I couldn't be happier about is this, is the EVA speed about tripled! Now they actually run, even on my slow computer. It's going to make getting screenshots much easier and faster. I also found the cutaway view, although its called something else... that's all sorts of cool. Anyway, it's late, and I'm beat. I'll test it out more tomorrow, and get some screenshots. And why don't I have KSP on Steam is a wonder. yup... I'm playing on an older AMD windows-7 machine. She's a good computer, but not the fastest anymore, and only has 4 gigs of ram. When I called a shop I know about upgrading and adding more RAM, they checked it out and said the motherboard was already maxed out a 4 gigs. That's why it takes me so long to do some of the chapters... screenshots can take forever getting set up. And EVAing especially. That's really, really slow. But this 1.1 upgrade already looks like it will help a lot... a lot, lot, lot!!!! lol However, I'm still making plans on getting a new one in the next couple months, if possible. Yeah, I feel bad everyone can't get a copy yet, and I hope it doesn't seem like I'm trying to rub it in. I'm just super excited... Truth is, I only ended up on Steam by accident. A different game I have switched over to Steam, and to avoid a really bad backlash, us folk that had just purchased it were automatically grandfathered in. As for the internal overlay view... I think that's what they're calling it... look for a little button near the portraits in the bottom left corner. You may have to mouse over the portraits to see it.
