The Saga of Emiko Station - Complete

Oh, I love Gir!!!

This may be a little off-topic.. but maybe not, there's a lot of Zim in Emiko Station. And for anyone who doesn't recognize my avatar, and may be a little curious... brace yourself for the madness... and doom!

My absolute favorite Gir moment... and episode for that matter...

Gir Goes Crazy and Stuff...

Also... that anti-grav craft is not easy to maneuver. It's beautiful eye-candy... but not terribly useful.

I've tried using those anti-gravity pods... ew.

yeah, I used thrusters to actually move around, and they're not efficient at all. That's why I wrote Thompberry was even having a hard time handling them, so it fit into the story when I tied him down. Truth was, it was to keep him from drifting off.

I've heard a little about Invader Zim, but never watched it until that clip. WHY DIDN'T I KNOW ABOUT IT SOONER IT?!? Love the humour. Not too much a fan of the art style (its alright though), but it seems very good (from the thing you posted.)

Also Gir is soo cute!

yea, Zim is one of those super experimental shows where the art style jumps around a LOT. so does the plot. it goes from crazy silly to super dark on the drop of a hat.

also, flying piggies

this whole episode is the first thing i thought of when i first read the bit about thompberry's hovercraft stability issues.

also, trivia. the guy who voices Zim also voiced Daggett from the angry beavers, another weird nick show.

I'll try, but I can't make any promises, sorry. Something really important came up a couple days ago I had to focus all my attention on.

Its very hard to maintain altitude. How do you do it Jim?

Switch on altitude control when you're at the height you want, and it will level itself out...

Nice, BTW! :D

As i was rereading the platypus section i noticed the Platypus Chassis is 3 wide, while mine was only 1. I fixed that.

I did that to help re-enforce the chassis... if you're not careful, and using the tornadoes on land, you can get going way to fast and rip it apart. So mine is strutted... and auto-strutted... underneath to help hold everything together.

Oh it'll sail on the polar flats!

Just be careful in hilly terrain you don't get going too fast, or bad things can happen, even with autostrut and KJR. Those tornado fans are seriously overpowered for land use. On water I'll gun them to 100%, but on land I seldom go over 25% throttle. ;)

well my Mark 1 version got up to 110 m/s with the wheels and fans throttled up, but it was barely accelerating at that point.

Here is the commemorative group photo!

Nice!

Wonder if by adding more fans or mild craft file hacking you can give it more power and go more faster. More faster is always good. Maybe also wouldn't be a bad idea to put skids under the fans? Or wheels? To prevent rolling or so.

Sweet!!!

Again, just be careful after you leave the polar ice-flats. Platipii are really fast, and the one problem I had is if I stopped paying attention, and it got going too fast downhill or something... one bad bump at 50 m/s or faster and the whole thing will rip apart. I did a lot of F5/F9 during the road-trip because of excess speed.
