I agree that this could be useful.  Maybe a subforum of support.  BTW, this should be in Kerbal Network.  If you want them to see this faster, you can report your post.  It won't cost rep or anything.

I suspect that the support forums for console would be handled (and possibly hosted) by the company doing the ports...

Console gamers could benefit from our experience on General Discussion and similar subforums, however those forums are filled with threads and posts mentioning mods and a console player may find it difficult to find useful information...

Ermmm... I guess it doesn't cost rep, but it costs you a whole lot of goodwill points with the modders. I would not recommend this course of action.
